Got through my trip to Wal-Mart tonight with the help of @boredrandom via the internet. It’s been a nutty few days for me… But that’s friendship to the rescue. That’s love. I hate it when people don’t think there could ever any real value to the friendships you make online. I have met people from all over the world who have ended up supporting me in amazing ways. Online I’ve lost my grandmother and other family. I’ve gotten sober. I’ve gotten married. I’ve lost my home to a horrific flood. Quit a job that was making me loss my mind. Bought a house. Watched my wife die right in front of me… All with the care and support of people I’ve met through fanfiction and gaming. Never let anyone discount the friendships you’ve made online. And never take them for granted.
