#stupid medication

I took two benadryl this morning because my nose would nOT stop running and now I’m so out of it...I hvae done nothing productive today unless you count upgrading my watering can in stardew valley and frying up a delicious chicken quesadilla for lunch

I wanna write but my stupid brain is not cooperating

I need to move that stupid mini-fridge back onto my bedside table so I don't forget about it...

I'm writing again. Brand new WIP. Uhhh...

I'm throwing this here because reasons.

Nobody mind me.

Kevin just wanted to sleep. 

On any other night, it would have been easy. Dreamers and musicians and other idiots loved to, what was the term, “wax poetic?” Something like that. They would write verses about “Sweet Morpheus” and “The dying of the light” and all that bullshit. Really, sleep was a utility, needed to survive but wholly useless on its own. If it were up to Kevin, he’d have the ability to throw a switch, preset for the proper time, that kicked his brain off for 8 hours a day and left him feeling refreshed the next morning with no pesky nighttime thoughts or dreams to try and unpack the following day. 

Sometimes, while he was trying to sleep, he would imagine that he was the recipient of such a great invention, handpicked for his usefulness to society as a beneficiary of perfect, blissful, dreamless sleep every night for the rest of his life. 

But on this particular night, as Kevin laid in his hotel bed trying to block out the memories of everything that had happened in the previous two days, he had no such happy thoughts. No, his brain was screaming at him, flashes of pain, heat, and pleasure, all rolled up into one with the face of a pumpkin-haired angel who, up until that night, he was certain despised his very existence. 

Funny how one night could change your entire perspective on things.
