Just found out my work schedule was changed again. 😡
I work nights, I have been for almost 3 months. I was hired for day shift, worked days for 8 months. Was told I was being switched to help my sister finish her training but someone who only helped her for maybe(?) 4 hours got all the credit.
Anyway we already worked Saturday night to this morning. The company rule is if you work 4 days, then you get 3 days off and vice versa. We worked 4 and then get today off and then work again tomorrow night.
My barely-there sanity is hanging by an incredibly thin barely-there thread. I’m ready to either scream or beat someone up. I asked 3 times about being switched back to day shift-WHERE I BELING!!- and I’m told “maybe”, “we’ll see”, and “it depends on production”. No, I actually don’t think it does. I think it depends on whether he wants to be nice to me or not. Like, I’m literally getting Scenic’d again and I thought I was done having to play peoples’ stupid little games.
If I have to call him and explain everything then I will. There are 5 new people who should have been switched to night shift so I can go back and they’ve been there at least 2 weeks. I only got a week of training, why do they need more?
And I was going to try and work in my room some more so I have stuff all over my bed and now I’ll have to do what my moms’ dumb-ass ex-husband used to do and just throw them back where they were.
