OK!! HERE WE GO!! I’ve got the glass jar ready for the magic solution and my first three pieces coated with the metal paint. The glass piece had a slight malfunction and the jump ring fell off. That’s fine tho cause I want to turn it the other way so it was a happy accident. I MIGHT add a little paint to the the tip (just the tip @sjoutlaw89 ). Next is the disembodied Barbie hand. I’ve been wanting to do something with it for ages now so I’m pretty psyched about this. Can’t wait to see it all finished. Then .... THE FEATHER Guys, I got so many freaking feathers here it’s not funny. I know it’s been done but daaaaamn I love it so bad and really can’t wait for the finished product. GUYS GUYS GUYS I GOT THE ELECTROFORMING KIT IMA ELECTROFORM SOME SHIT Ok so this will take some time, the process has steps. Plural. And a couple take some time. Like hours. So, I have to be all patient and some shit. This is the kit pre-set up. Getting all the anodes cleaned and set up first and then I’ll use the metal paint to coat the first thing to be plated. I’ll take pics of the process as I go BECAUSE I AM STUPID EXCITED ABOUT THIS. I even spent a good part of the day totally ignoring other responsibilities (like laundry, dishes and finishing cleaning the bathroom)(hey, least I started that much) and rearranged The Art Room so I could set up a table for this baby. I also maybe cleaned some windows and mopped the floor. ANYWAY.
