Okay. Clementine's pretty sure she can now successfully say she definitely made a valiant attempt at socialising. The woman across from her, draped in pearls, says something about her poor little baby (said baby being a domesticated bengal tiger) acting fussy and Clementine is fully checking out. She scours her surroundings for a means of escape, her eyes finally landing on someone walking by. “Oh! That's my friend, I've got something super urgent I need to go talk to them about, so I'm just gonna...” She begins to shuffle over in Ansel's direction, faking a smile. “Hope Mr. Whiskers feels better soon, bye!”

She speeds over to Ansel before the woman can say anything else. “Hey, sorry. Can you pretend we know each other? Just for a sec. Until tiger lady back there's out of sight.”
