We began 2019 by adding an “Octo” @uaudio DSP card, bring our A room up to 14 cores. This gave us the ability to do things like run 24 channels with both Studer #Analog tape emulations and console channel strips like SSL, Neve 88RS, 1073 etc. Currently we have 81 titles from UA. Over the summer we added another huge plugin package. This time @pluginalliance began offering their Mega Bundle subscription - over 100 plugins. Titles from Shadow Hills, @dangerousmusic @wearefocusrite @maagaudio and many more. We also dramatically increased our virtual instruments by adding the gigantic “Komplete 12 Ultimate” bundle by @nativeinstruments “100+ premium instruments and effects, more than 45,000 sounds, and over 600 GB of content”. While the Native Instruments package includes excellent symphonic samples, we went a step further with the undisputed very best orchestral sounds from Hollywood favorite: Vienna Symphonic Library. This includes multiple string articulations sampled in a world class symphonic hall with an incredibly intuitive interface. The package includes brass and classical percussion and pianos. Finally we beefed up our beat-making tools with software from @izotopeinc including #breaktweaker and #stutteredit 2019 also saw major updates to the software we already had from @steinbergmedia (Nuendo and Wavelab), @avid.protools @applelogicprox and @ableton We enter 2020 armed to the teeth with the very best sounds available (and just a touch of a learning curve :)) - most of these titles are available in both our A and B studios.
