salvia : is your muse possessive over people or things that matter a lot to them ?how do they express that possessiveness , or lack thereof ?

{Ashveil: Considering how canonically avoidant Ashveil is when it comes to those he was once close to (because he doesn't want to cause anymore suffering to his former comrades with all they've already lost/went through because of him/his actions), he doesn't allow himself to become possessive. He so strongly believes that it's for the better that he distances himself from who he used to be as La Mancha, bc that identity of his brought so much turmoil and loss to those who followed him. It's a guilt that he carries every moment of his life, & it's not to say he doesn't care about his Galaxy Rangers when he so clearly does. He's so intent on ensuring they're still cared for by paying off medical expenses & overall giving money to their families. And he's sentimental to a terrible degree to where his dreams feature them I'd say 95% of the time, wishing he could stay asleep longer in his freezer in order to spend more time with the lost Galaxy Rangers. He'd likely be wary when it comes to developing attachments, trying to keep things from deepening in order to prevent others from getting tangled up in his mess.}

{Dainsleif: Ah, yes, another one that avoids developing deeper bonds bc he's secretly afraid of loss. Though, in Dain's case, he both went through the fall of his nation as well as the betrayal of those he considered friends/close allies all in one blow. So it's very much so understandable as to why he'd be closed off to any bonding. As well as with how utterly doomed he is, fate-wise. He's doomed to always wander the land as a ghost that ruthlessly haunts the Abyss Order, body & mind afflicted by both the curse of immortality as well as Abyssal corruption that's rotting away his mind. He knows the cold reality of this world & it is not kind to those like him. However, I can easily see him being subtle & quiet in his possessiveness if he were to somehow get close enough to someone.}

{Ooh! Tbh, an old staple of mine in my earlier writing days when it came to writing characters was that I loved a good older brother character, & even though I wasn't initially drawn to Seteth when I first played Three Houses (aggressively side-eyes @ Dimitri), I can definitely see why you'd think I'd be good at writing him if I were to pick him up! Maybe once I get back to playing Three Houses, I'll try to pay more attention to him- 👀}

Physical touch was something the knight had always shied away from, making him extremely uncomfortable, but in that same vein, he was touch-starved. Perhaps, he was just afraid, because physical touch signified an intimacy between two people, a connection, a bond. He felt that it made him vulnerable, as well, something he most certainly detested. But with his maiden, for some reason, touch came easier to him. Maybe it was because they shared a Brand, and the kinship that came alongside it, they understood well. The only kinds of touches he dared initiate thus far, though, had been a hand on her shoulder, at the back of her waist in guidance, lingering brushes against each other's hands, and arms looped together as they walked, often through the gardens. He grew to crave these small instances of warmth more than he would like to admit. So, when she asked for a hug, it took him aback, the prospect of a closer touch than ever before making him somewhat nervous. He knew it was silly, but he could not help it. How could he deny the Queen though ??? He could not. He would not. So, he swallowed all of his fears, approaching her from the front, and opened his arms wide, closing the distance between them, and wrapping them around her waist, securely, but not too tight that it could be considered inappropriate. Truthfully, though, he was not sure how long the hug should last.....

Brows knitted together, and he dropped the subject--yet he still worried. Her syndrome...her illness wasn't something that could easily go away. Even in the dreams as they were, things would catch up with her.

His chest hurt, but he solemnly looked away, back to the view they had been admiring, people moving about in the dreamscape.

It was not often that the Queen showed her off side, the side that was imperfect, melancholic, worried, and unconfident. This assembly had been particularly brutal ; she had been bombarded with difficult questions and challenges to her authority and decrees, and it had all come to a fiery end. Zelgius was half worried she would set the room ablaze with one of her spells. He had wanted to step in multiple times to defend her, but he knew it was not his place. He was fortunate enough that she allowed him to live in the castle, but he knew he was not welcome here by some. She adjourned the meeting with no further comments, and he was surprised that she requested him to linger behind. He had figured she would want time to herself, to cool down, and be alone with her thoughts. He supposed he should be flattered, though, that his presence brought a level of comfort to her. ❛ My maiden..... ❜ He only brought that phrase out when they were alone ; it signified a grand intimacy between them. ❛ Are you alright ??? ❜ Concern was laced within every word, pulling down every syllable heavily. He stepped closer to her, a firm hand coming to rest upon dainty shoulders. His teeth pulled at his lower lip, him clearly upset over what had just happened, too. Such a blatant show of disrespect. ❛ They had no business questioning you like that. You have my full support, as always. Is there anything I can do for you ??? ❜

Zelgius never once hoped that he would receive forgiveness or mercy from Ike due to the ultimate transgression he had committed. He had murdered this man's poor father, after all, the only blood family he had besides his sister, Mist, and all for emotions he could not control. For questions he never knew the real answers to, just filled in the blanks, making himself a victim. He regretted what happened that fateful night more than anything else in his life. It weighed heavily on his soul, a burden that could never be lifted, no matter how many times he had convinced himself it was an accident. Since it happened, he would weep uncontrollably when he would allow himself to feel emotions about it, the sobs wracking through him, wave after relentless wave. Then he would punish himself physically when he could no longer bear the mental repercussions, finding that delving into the physical was easier to handle. Those scars that littered his upper chest and neck were not just from battle.

❛ I know my words are meaningless, after what I have done, but I cannot help but keep apologizing regardless. But, you are right, actions are what really matter, and until the day I draw my last breath, I will prove to you just how much I regret that night, and how I wish to alleviate the pain, if only a little. ❜ His words carried weight ; they were filled with determination, the urge to make himself better, to repair the world and help it heal after everything he had done to destroy it. Even more so, he wanted to prove to Ike that he was still worthy of living, that he had so much more to do. He wanted him to be proud of him. After all, the respect and admiration went both ways.

Molten gold eyes were rapt as they held his hand, body stone-like in its stillness. Sat across from them in an old chair in their workshop, not a single flinch from him as they remedied the various wounds marring his already scarred skin. Their hands were warm, akin to how his used to feel. A consoling, calming kind of warmth. Extending such to a being like Blade himself, who was nothing more than a pile of cold soot and ash. Did they hope for a miraculous re-ignition of the inferno which had been extinguished? Or were they perfectly alright with tending to him as he was? Why bother with so willingly dispensing a foreign kindness upon a man so set on a track to the end? Surely they must know he wouldn't be lurking around their vicinity for forever. Looming over them like a protective shadow. Despite every last ounce of his being telling him not to, that it'd only be wasted time, he kept returning. Him more often than not being the one to seek them out. To already be at their workshop, waiting.

"...Thank you." His voice was barely above a whisper, barely detectable. But the words were clear. He couldn't promise he would always stay unscathed. But perhaps, maybe, he could begin to hold a small amount of consideration for his own well-being. Only to not see them distressed. There was... an odd sensation whenever he'd spot the fear in their eyes whenever they laid eyes on his wounded form. An even deeper frown twisting his features at the sight of them so worried. "I'll try to be more careful next time."

{Ashveil: Ashveil is canonically a very sentimental person, hanging onto artifacts of past/lost Galaxy Rangers. And his guilt for each loss the Rangers endured is massive, so he'd likely panic if he were to begin to forget any information about his Rangers. So, yes, he likely is very afraid of potentially forgetting anything regarding the Galaxy Rangers.}

{Reca: *Insert tbh creature yippee audio here* I get to talk about one of my favorite concepts when it comes to Reca/Memokeepers- He'd rather let his memetic existence be terminated than forget anything or anyone important. Esp when it comes to bonds, since he's not the type to easily get attached to someone (aromantic spectrum Reca canon to me), but when he does somehow get to develop a deeper connection with someone? His dedication will know no bounds & they will never have his adoration for them be in doubt. So, yes, there is a slight fear of forgetting more important things, should he have such important things/people is his life. Bc he will go to great lengths to ensure it all remains remembered by him, by any means necessary.}
