Style Evolution- Simself Edition

As I was messing with my simself for the outfit challenge I was thinking about how much my style has changed over time. And then of course I had to revisit some of my best/worst fashion moments in CAS. Blame this weird reflective mood on my turning 30 or something. 

2003- Baby Slanes discovered punk rock and started going to all-ages shows, definitely one of the more influential things to happen in my life and impacted my style in a huge way, as cringey as all that eyeliner was. 

2007- As my musical taste expanded so did my "style”. In 2007 I went blonde for the first time, my friend bleached my hair with box dye in her bathroom. Then after a terrible haircut I started chopping my own hair (yikes). I also discovered skinny jeans. I really wanted to look like the lovechild of Courtney Love and Debbie Harry but let’s be real, I was a hot fucking mess!

2013- Definitely the longest-lasting style era of Slanes, I was a rockabilly bitch from ~2009-2016. And boy was I dedicated! I had the babiest bettie-bangs and a massive closet full of vintage and reproduction clothes. This was definitely a great time in my life, I was in awesome shape, good health, killing it at school and work and had a great side gig as a pin-up model. In a lot of ways I miss this time but I definitely do not miss getting up at the crack of dawn to tease my hair into a beehive.

2020- I feel in a lot of ways, my style has gone full-circle back to band shirts and a lot of black. I’ve also finally embraced the fact that I goddamn need glasses. Overall, my style has gotten much simpler as my life has gotten much more complicated but at least I can say I have better eyebrows.

Wow, amazing what editing, a storyline, reshade, posemaking, and better CC can do, right? XD

At the very beginning from TS4 I only saw the comic  aspect and so were the first sims! This trio was an attempt to create the Monster High Barbies for litte girls!  The second one is my last sim!  Soon I found it is possible to create much more realistic sims and that’s what I tried to do! Rita, my last sim is the best example! I like her very much!

The first time l ever played Sims was back in 2006 if l remember that correctly, my favorite game is and probably will always be The Sims 2!
