Jake Ejercito and Manila’s style influencers and top models grace Abreeza Mall’s Breezapalooza
Style Origin, the annual fashion event that tours Ayala Malls nationwide, took on the theme “MAS!”—“more music, art, and style”—this year to make the signature fashion spectacle a truly invigorating experience. Abreeza Mall delivered all that and more with a fun-filled fashion festival dubbed Breezapalooza last July 30.
Headlining Breezapalooza was celebrity guest Jake Ejercito, the son of former Philippine president Joseph “Erap” Estrada who shot to greater fame when he guested on Eat Bulaga’s Juan for All, All for Juan segment opposite Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub. Jake walked the runway in on-trend picks from Abreeza Mall merchants.
Also strutting down the Breezapalooza ramp in the latest fashion from Abreeza Mall brands were style influencers Daniel Diniz, Iago Faria, Carlo Gonzales, Carlo Guevara, Janina Manipol, Tola Orendain, Miko Raval, Ulrike Reinbold, Hans Weiser, and Jessica Yang. Manila’s top models Sam Ajdani, Stefano Churchill, Julian Flores, Alaiza Malinao, Lou Muñoz, and Cassy Naidas also conquered the runway.
Not to be outdone, Davao’s own personalities from the fashion, media, and blogging communities had their turn on the Breezapalooza runway.
Over 30 Abreeza Mall merchants covering men’s and women’s apparel, kids’ and teens’ wear, active lifestyle picks, footwear, bags, and accessories showcased their latest looks at Breezapalooza; namely, Artwork, Bambu, Bratpack, Burrp! Tees, CLN, Collezione C2, Columbia Sportswear, Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins, Esprit, Flossy, GAP, Gingersnaps, Herschel, Ipanema, Just G, Mags, Mango, Mango Kids, Mango Man, Marks & Spencer, Mendrez, Nike Athletic Club, Nurlika Pearl Shoppe, Onitsuka Tiger, Original Penguin, Plains & Prints, Promod, Robinsons Department Store, Samsonite, Sneaker Club, SOUL Lifestyle, Springfield, Res Toe Run, and Wrangler.
Rounding out the music and art treats at Breezapalooza were wicked beats by DJ Nina Saputil and themed art by young Davao artists displayed at the GIF photowall near the Activity Center.
Ayala Malls Style Origin 2016 was presented in partnership with The Philippine STAR YStyle, TIGER 22 media corporation, and Starworld. The hotel sponsor for Abreeza Mall’s Style Origin Breezapalooza was Seda Abreeza Hotel.

Designer Joey Samson's Summer/Spring 2015 for Style Origin
An almost androgynous look for the men of today
Just the other day, Designer Joey Samson presented his Summer/Spring 2015 collection during the Style Origin Men’s Week campaign of the Ayala Malls at Greenbelt.
As photographed by my favorite lensman Bruce Casanova, the designer unveiled a line of new creations that push the envelope in…

I was really looking forward to this weekend because me and a few of my friends are going to the Style Origin Men's week runway fashion show, and it will be my first time to witness a runway show, and to bring my friends along too. After watching the Style Origin Mensweek fashion show, we took pictures! haha a lot of my friends helped me in taking outfit photos of me that night (they are so supportive haha) thanks again! This is what I wore during the Fashion show. I was trying to look legit for the show that is the reason for this outfit haha I wanted to look the part, and not to look like I was lost or something haha with all those very fashionable people surrounding the events area haha
Overused bag, sorry haha and there's an open button haha
I'm Wearing: A button-down shirt from F&X Philippines, Jegging pants from Bench/, Shoes from Topman and Rucksack bag from a local Thrift Shop.

After the show I stayed outside the activity area, hoping that I will be able to meet some of my idol bloggers. There are lots of fashion bloggers who attended the event. But I only identified three of them, they are Dani Barretto, Seph Cham and David Guison. As I got near where the bloggers were chit chatting with each other, luckily Seph Cham and David Guison recognized me and the girl near where I stand. The two bloggers approached us (me and the girl whom I don’t know).
I insisted the conversation with the two and started introducing myself. I told them that I am an avid reader of their blogs respectively. I even said to them that I follow most of their fashion styles and purchase those brands that they features on their blog. They also asked me where I live and how did I know about the event and so on. And before we end up our conversation, I asked them if it’s okay to take a picture with them. And they both agreed, and I was like the happiest human on earth. I never expected that I could have a chance to talk with them and take a photo with them. Actually, as of this moment I still can’t believe that I just met them.
Frankly, I was totally reluctant to approach them. The fact that they are Seph Cham and David Guison, two of the top fashion bloggers in the country and I am nothing but an aspiring blogger who idolized these two gorgeous men. But as I have said they didn’t treat me bad or whatsoever. They were really entertaining and humble which made me admire them more.
All in all, it was an amazing experience. A lot of “first times” happened to me that day! It was my first time to witness a legit fashion show, first time to see Enchong Dee in person. And above all, it was my first time to meet two of my idol bloggers up close and have a photo with them.
