THE LETTER

Dear Mom and Dad,

I know we just talked on the phone the other day but I’m writing this letter to thank you. I know I thank you all the time, but it’s never going to be enough. I know that it seems like I resented you in my earlier years, I couldn’t be more grateful. Even though I had to grow up faster than most kids my age and I had to basically take care of Ani, Halina, Kai, Leilani, Kiana, and Alika, I would do it all again. I truly think that where I came from is why I’m so successful. 

I never got to be a normal teenager but who cares? The most important part of my life was taking care of my siblings. Leaving them and you was one of the hardest decisions that I’ve ever had to make. But it was you guys who told me that I should do it. Mom, you said that I had a gift that I had to share with the world. Dad, you said that I would be the biggest Hawaiian musician since Israel  Kamakawiwo'ole. And you were right. I’m doing so well and it’s all thanks to you. I’m sending some money over to you guys in a few weeks so that they can all have their supplies for school and sports. 

I know you guys don’t watch the show that I’m on because you don’t have cable but I’ll just tell you about it. Straight from the source instead of the media and all that stuff. It’s called Calabasas’ Style and it’s on MTV. It’s a reality TV show about people who live in this suburban town that I moved into a few years ago. It’s weird having cameras on me all the time (I know, I’m an actress but this is different) but it’s mainly fine. The main thing they follow me around doing is working. Some people may say that I’m a workaholic but that’s the only way I know how to function. Once again, a product of where I came from. When I’m not working, I’m usually hanging out with Faith or something. (He’s dumb but he’s lovable, like Keanu.) Right now, we’re on vacation in Miami and it’s a good time. I’m having fun and the beaches are beautiful. But not quite as beautiful as the ones in Honolulu. Nothing quite measures up to those beaches. 

Anyway, this is getting long and I know that you guys are probably really busy so I’ll leave you with this: Thank you for being who you are and doing what you do because it’s made me who I am and do what I do. And I get to do what I love for a living.

Honestly I’m excited, we have more time to have more fun, maybe even develop unexpected relationships/friendships. Who knows what’s going to happen?

It’s not like it’s something from another world. I’d be a bit hesitant but it’s life, what can you do?

Per say, no, I’m not hiding anything

Just to make sure of their wishes, sometimes getting what you want isn’t what it all turns out to be. Make sure to get an education since it is the most important thing out there.

I was born on August 6th so that would make me a Leo.

What’s your middle name?

William.

Where are you from?

I was born in England but we moved to America when I was 3 and I grew up in New York. The city that never sleeps. You just need to look at the bags under my eyes to see how true that statement is.

How long have you been famous for?

Well, I got my big break in acting when I was 16. I landed a role in a popular tv show and I've done a bunch of other tv shows and movies since then. So, I guess about 5 years or so.

Where is your favorite place to get food?

As bad for me it is I love fast food. Greasy burgers and pizza is my shit, bro. The amount of times my agent has told me off for it is ridiculous but I can't help it, everytime I pass an In-N-Out I just have to get something. I have very poor impulse control, what can I say?

Are you Vanilla in bed?

I wouldn't say I'm vanilla, no. I'm not crazy with my fetishes and kinks either but I like what I like and I like to please my partner. I'm not judgemental or adverse to trying new things.

Oh getting personal now, are we? Okay um—— Hair pulling, dirty talk and dominance are just a few of my turn-ons.

Who’s your closest friend at the moment?

I mean, I've only just joined the show so I haven't had much of an opportunity to meet people and create friendships as of yet. Maybe ask me that question in a couple of weeks and I'll be able to tell ya'.

What are your thoughts about cheating?

I hate it. I think it's cowardly and hurtful and I just never understand people who get into relationships to just cheat on someone. A relationship is meant to be between two people, a union that it's built on trust, loyalty and honesty. If you cheat on someone, you have none of that. If you want to sleep around then that's fine, just don't get in a relationship. Stay single. Sorry, I went on a little rant there didn't I? Can you tell I've been cheated on before?

How do you guys feel about staying in Miami for another week?

I'm all for it! I love it here. The weather is beautiful, the beach is beautiful, the people are beauitful. Honestly what is there not to like?

What would you do or say when TMZ exposes your secret?

Honestly, I'm fucking terrified. It's bad enough that I have to live with it, for other people to know and then judge me for it? That's like my worst fucking nightmare. It gives me anxiety just thinking about it. I mean, deep down I know it's not my fault but I still blame myself and beat myself up about it. I'm just worried if and when people hear about it that they're going to pin all that blame on me too. I don't know how I'd cope with that, I probably wouldn't cope at all.

Are you hiding something?

Yes, but aren't we all?

Something you want your fans to understand while watching the show?

Just remember that this is a reality show and that some things can be taken out of context or twisted around. You also need to remember that I'm only human. I can't be constantly positive and happy all the time. I do hurt. I do cry. I do get down on myself because I am only human and it's exhausting being the person that people want me to be all the time. Yes, I'm an actor so I can fake emotions when I have to but that doesn't mean I can keep the facade up all the time. Also thanks for watching, I love you and am so grateful for all the support.

Any comment made by the fans you want to clarify?

No. I know my true fans understand me and the ones making horrible comments or spreading malicious rumours are just haters and I'm not interested in anything they have to say.

TASK #001 MIAMI VLOG ➥ DAY ONE

‘Good morning, boys and girls! Today I’m coming to you from the beautiful Miami. It’s gorgeous isn’t it?’ Harry grinned brightly at the camera before panning it around him and showing the beautiful scenery of the golden beach, the sun shining brightly down from the light blue sky.  ‘I’ll give you a little room tour of the hotel in a little bit, they really went all out for us. I just wanted to head down to the beach and have a little dip before the others get up drag themselves down here. It’s so peaceful and quiet this time of the morning.’ He smiled as he plopped himself down and sat on the warm sand, holding the camera out at arm's length to frame his face. He adjusted the sunglasses on his face. ‘Alright, I’ll check back in with you a little later.’ He waved to the camera before pressing the stop recording button. ‘And boom we’re back!’ Harry expressed as he zoomed the camera on his face before dropping back and dramatically landing on the big bed. ‘I did promise you a room tour did I not?’ He waved an arm out and caressed his hand along the soft bed sheets. ‘This bed is so fucking comfy fam, I honestly could lie here all day.’ He let out a content sigh. ‘But that wouldn’t make for a very interesting vlog now would it?’ He let out a laugh and jumped up from his bed. He flipped the camera so it was now filming the room and not him as he walked towards the furthest end of the room.  ‘Look at this view! It’s beautiful, isn’t it?’ Harry’s voice could be heard from behind the camera as he filmed the large expanse of the window and showed the stunning view from his hotel room. The beach was in view in the near distant as well as an expanse of palm trees and the hotel swimming pool. The sunlight making the water sparkle.  ‘Okay, so that’s the view and here is the television.’ He moved the camera to film the large television mounted on the wall. He kept walking showing the room’s decor before he reached the closet and wardrobe. ‘And this is where I shoved all of my clothes because I couldn’t be bothered to unpack properly and I thought living out of a suitcase was a bit too rock ‘n’ roll for me.’ He laughed before he continued walking until he reached the en suite bathroom.  ‘And this my friends is the wonderful bathroom.’ He pushed open the door and switched the light on, he moved in front of the mirror. ‘There’s me.’ He waved at the mirror with a cheeky grin before moving the camera around and showing the all-in-one bath shower. ‘And that’s where I’ll be soaking my little toes later on.’ He flipped the camera back around as he walked out of the bathroom and turned off the light. ‘And I think that’s about it for the room tour! I feel very lucky and grateful to be put up in this beautiful hotel. Big shout out to the producers for being so kind!’ He grinned, putting his thumbs up before promising to catch up with his audience later on. The camera switched back on with a blurry vision of Harry blinking at the camera before it autofocused. ‘Hello, folks! Drunk Harry coming on to say hi!’ He giggled as he waved the camera to show the table that was filled with many colourful drinks and beer bottles. He was in some bar that he couldn’t remember the name of. He lifted up a shot and downed it all in one, twisting his face at its sourness, the camera footage shaky as he waved his arm about. ‘Man, that is strong.’ He laughed. ‘Remember drink responsibly kids.’ He snorted, he wasn’t exactly in the best state to be saying that.  The camera showed him a half hour later, dancing and singing loudly (and badly) at the song that was blaring out in the bar. He jumped up and down, shouting over the crowd of other people who were also singing along drunkenly. ‘Oh, maybe that’s not such a good idea.’ He stopped after a couple of moments, reminding himself how much he had drunk and throwing up on camera probably wasn’t the best idea.  The next shot was Harry tucked up in bed, his face only visible thanks to the bedside lamp. ‘Today was a good fucking day. I think I drank too much and I’m definitely sunburnt but apart from that it’s been amazing, and it’s only day one! I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings! I’ll see you then. MIAMI VLOG: DAY ONE

"Hi, friends! We’re in Miami!” Kailani says in a cheery voice. She swigns her camera around the hotel room. “The hotel room is so nice, they really hooked us up good.” She zooms in on Brooklyn ( @helloxbrooklyn​ ) and adds, “This is my lovely roommate, Brooklyn! Fun fact, we were actually pen pals before we met in Calabasas. Small world, huh?”

“And now we’re at the beach!” Kailani practically screams. “I’m so happy because I love the beach! I haven’t been in so long because I’m working on album six for y’all but I’m so glad that we’re here.” She swaps the camera to show that Faith ( @innitfaith​ ), Bella ( @bellamari​ ), and Tobias ( @wtf--tobias​ ) are with her at the beach. “We’re having a good time, right?”

They’re at the beach again but this time, it’s just Faith and Kailani doing shots. “This stuff is really strong, don’t do this at home, kids! Also, this is like...a normal night for Faith.” She elbows him with a playful smile.

“Okay, hey everyone, I’m back in my room,” she motions around the room, and her voice is a little groggy. “I think I did too many shots. But anyway, I pretended to be this dude, Kennedy’s ( @kensinclair​ ) girlfriend so that this creepy girl would stop hitting on him. And Kai ( @malachazam​ ) and I went out for ice cream. Also, another thing I would like to address is that a gossip blog made a comment about me that kind of bothered me? They said that I was ‘too nice’ or something? Since when is it a crime to be nice? I don’t know, it just bothered me. They’re also acting like they know me...when they don’t. At all. Anyway, that’s all I’m going to say about that. This is your Polynesian princess, signing off. See you tomorrow!”
