My Mum owned a fashion business for over 30 years. Nigeria is a fashion hub and the designs created out of the fabrics my Mum provided were mostly sophisticated and elegant. ➡️The most remarkable thing to me that I clearly noted and never forgot was that the women that looked the most attractive were not always the ones wearing the most expensive fabric. Most often, a lot of the women had the same fabric given to them by the host to wear to the party in the exact same colour (popularly known in Nigeria as ASO EBI). 💎The women who knew what suited them best always looked on point in a style that flattered them rather than be caught in the trap of being “in vogue”. 📌This is why I have 90% of my clothes custom designed and made to suit my personality, style preference and body shape. I don’t follow fashion trends and stick to what works for me. ✅Don’t allow fashion trends or designer mania lead you to make terrible style choices.
