Louis did bully people when he was younger. If you go on his old Bebo account, there are various times where he referred to people as "faggots" and the like, and it seemed like he was quite homophobic. He's obviously changed now though, and we don't know the reasons why he did it; apparently the area he grew up in was quite homophobic, or perhaps he was dealing with internalized homophobia.

I've never heard that before-I really never would've pegged him to be the type of person to bully anyone before. I think it could really be a combination of his environment and an internalized homophobia. He might have also been trying to cover up his sexuality by making it seem like he was homophobic.
