Shadow even uses this time to try and make an apology to Blaze, but from one determined recluse to another, it doesn’t go over so well. I’m glad they’re focusing more on this now, considering these guys were on really good terms a few issues back. Its this emotional core that I think helps make this arc a really nice read.
Bean uses his “Bean ex Machina” powers to protect his teammates from explosives. I gotta say, when Bean is in this comic, you don’t quite know what’s gonna happen.
Oh my, its fan-favourite team of artefact-stealing birds, the Babylon Rogues! I do like how they’re finally appearing in an issue that isn’t a dull tie-in to the Riders games.
Also Bean ruins their introduction by being he crazy ol’ self. I guess these guys can’t have all the fun.
As silly as they portray him when with his teammates, I am glad they can still give him his “fanged sniper” traits. Like, this guy’s not one to waste an opportunity to just unpack a laser gun and bring it into the battle!
I really like Team Hooligans. Bean and Bark and their antics are fun on their own, but when paired with series regular Nack the Weasel, who is arguably one of the most competent and ruthless side-villains, it really adds to their team and to our amusement (and his unfortunate embarrassment).
It sure is!
At my moms house.
