New trap song bishes.
I used this all the time when I was a kid......memories.
Broke 7!
So, after lots and lots of whining and awkward stretches I ran the mile.
It was such an odd feeling. I swear, jumping into things like that head on when you have like no idea what you're doing is so, just, odd! Ha I'm running the first lap thinking 'Wait! I'm actually doing this! I actually went when John said 'go', and I didn't change the subject or anything! This is me! Trying to break 7'.
And I did! :)
About a half hour after I ran I finally asked let John (my really close friend who offered to time me) tell me my time.
6:52 (I don't know the milliseconds because stupid me got too happy and hit a button that erased it!)
It's great to see my improvement from one year to the next. If you had told me at soccer tryouts last year that I was going to be able to run a sub-7 next year I would've laughed. But look at me! Haha it may not be outstanding but I'm very pleased and proud, and ready to crush this time come the end of august!
Also thanks aliceloves2run.tumblr.com for the tip/motivation! :)
