I don't actually care who tops or bottoms in the Noel/Liam dynamic and, speaking personally, any sexual relationship is not that interesting to me outside of being a prism through which the psychosexual/emotional/trauma-linked aspects of the relationships are filtered. But it is of fundamental importance to me that Liam subs <- Man who describes himself as his brother's 'bitch' and refers to his brother as 'God'. See:
If anything, part of the friction with Noel probably arises from the submissive aspect clashing with the 'I don't respect the authority of men' aspect of Liam's personality.
