the cultural differences in dogshow are fun to see play out, do you think you'll manage to discuss when people are considered adults on earth vs rezero world/country that starts with an L (I cannot spell the name for the life of me) cause I think it'll explain SOOOO much about Subaru lmao
Absolutely, it probably explains SOO much to these people that Subaru was legitimately not considered an adult by the standards of his culture when he first arrived in Lugunica lmao.
Honestly when it’s not being used as an…excuse…the cultural differences regarding when a person is considered an adult have SO much potential for comedy. Like, Subaru was treating Felt like a little girl instead of a grown ass woman because she WAS a little girl as far as he was concerned. Subaru sees the Pearlbaton triplets as little kids because demihumans straight up did not exist where he came from, and so he had the double-whammy of not considering 15-year-olds grown adults AND not being anywhere near accustomed to the idea of kittenpeople being a thing. And, of course, Subaru acts so young all the time because as far as his homeland is concerned he is genuinely still a kid — or at least, literally JUST stopped being a kid.
Also. If Subaru is still considered so young by the standards of his culture…do you think characters like the Pearlbaton triplets could draw the conclusion that that means they’re actually OLDER than him, due to staggering caused by their cultural differences?
