All over the place AU stuff with Aura. I like too many ideas for this girl.

Pic 1 - I wanted like a winter family type thing for Aura with her family and depending on the AU she’d wind up being with Snatcher or Moonjumper, decided to combine em both instead of leaving one out. It also features Moonjumper and Aura’s son, and Snatcher and Aura’s oldest daughter. (currently unnamed and probably not their official looks).
Pic 2 - Anyone who follows my main blog kind of knows about this when I referred to this in the tags of last shippy post I did for Aura/GSD and Snatcher (with a hint of Moonjumper). This would be the sketch that I mentioned would probably stay in forever in my W.I.P.s.
Was inspired by the song Comatose, by Skillet. Primarily fits the lines of:
“Oh how I adore you
Oh how I thirst for you
Oh how I need you”
So after hearing the song, for some reason my brain was like ‘I guess Moonjumper’s feelings for Aura in Alpha/Beta is gonna be a bit yandere’. So that is how their relationship is until Moonjumper gets his memories back, then he’s gonna feel like trash.

Was inspired by frickfracksnatchisback’s Snatcher wedding headcanons for this. I do have a few other versions, one for anon in a dress and one in a tux also one for me cause I’m weak.
Pic 4 - Another picture based on a song; Martyrs by Saint Asonia. Primarily fits the lines of:
“I'll run away from the past today
Slowing my memory
I'm making my way away from you
And all the martyrs they go away
All this from yesterday
I'm making my way away from you”
This would be kind of a transitional picture, thus why going from back when they were both alive, to their game appearances and then finally to Aura’s final ghost form.
Pic 5 - Not really a W.I.P., more of the concept for when I first went about making the Queen Swap AU.
For a little background, I personally headcanon the huge Hourglass in Subcon Forest as being there before the events of the game, ranging from the time of Vanessa’s reign to who knows how much further in the past (if there is factual evidence of this being there because of Hat Kid or some other way, would someone let me know. I like being as close to canon as possible at times, this being one of em). Then when it breaks, it’s kind of the reason Subcon winds up all... different. Vanessa’s own magic clashing with it didn’t help either. Now adding in Aura, the Hourglass would have been there for centuries, her and her bloodline revering and protecting it.
In Queen Swap AU, not only does the hourglass breaking affect the forest, but the Queen and Aura themselves. Basically as Vanessa goes in for the kill, the hourglass breaks and messes up the forest, but fulfills Aura’s prayer to stop the cause of the icy plague. Vanessa’s magic had been stripped from her but instead of disappearing, it went to Aura. From then on, Aura has to deal with the magic and decides to be seen as Vanessa. Mostly because she feels as it is some penance for not being in the forest for everyone’s deaths and Snatcher’s minions kinda just referred to her as such (they’re not so friendly neighbors, so intimidation factor and why she dresses similar to Vanessa as well).
Unlike the former Queen, she is actually sane and gets used to the magic over time, being able to unfreeze things properly and can somewhat control her different forms.
