kind of love how much the themes of autonomy (or limitations of) are in deltarune. the whole "your choices dont change anything" thing from toby. all of the trans characters (kris ralsei mewmew), the conflicts over bodily autonomy within self (kris v soul, mew mew v mew mew, rudy v body, etc), ralsei vs the prophecy in general, the way susie likely has been told all her life that she cant do xyz but now has people who allow her to (major plot of ch1 was her choosing to do what she wants instead of should). carol/queen controlling noelle. weirdroute noelle feeling like choosing to be hurt is at least choice she can make in a life where she feels she doesnt have any choices that matter. the way darkners dont have autonomy over their light world selves/states.

and while autonomy i feel is a more specific term for this, of course a more thematic synonym is also freedom

For indie game enjoyers, if you guys ever want to widen your scope or even just find games made by people like yourself, I highly recc checking out the Summer Games Fest event schedule!

It isn't just the Jeff Keighley event, they share/promote online "direct"-type showcases that other groups host throughout June!

While I always tune in for all of them (esp the wholesome direct for me!), they're pretty spread out. They also usually have Steam pages for wishlisting/buying after the premiere!

Some of them are demographic based (Women-Led Games, Black Voices in Gaming, Latin American Games Showcase, and more) and some are more genre/content based (Wholesome Direct, Story-Rich Games, Green Games).

This is a cool way to get eyes on creators who normally might not get seen! Please check it out!! (ignore the link description, this schedule is for this year!!)

so ive had this cool shirt i got from a con that ive worn around a lot as a cool chill silly shirt for any silly graphic tee situation because its just got these cute little guys like a penguin and an alien and an apple guy etc and its in a grid and in the middle it says L.A.D.S. and i was like yes its like theyre a space action squad but theyre also silly little lads and i thought it was like an original design shirt and im like yay whimsical little lads!!

so apparently it is a love and deepspace shirt. my lads are hot steamy otome anime boys. i see

The book, CREAMTHING IN HIS GOLDEN YEAR , is now available.

It’s short but dense. I worked very hard on it and it was delayed by several periods of personal hardship, so I hope it lives up to me talking about it for so long.

It’s made well and feels good to hold, and while I’m terrified to finally put it into the world, I am very proud of it too.

I have many other things in the works. They will also take a lot of time before you can see them, so just let me say thank you for all the support and patience I have received over the years from those who like my work.

Tell your friends :) Every book that sells this week will be signed, and then maybe after that too but I’ll have to see how my hand is doing :)

i feel like quilt as you go would be so dangerous for me to learn. i could just keep going if i wanted to. i could just make a quilt thats the square footage of my apartment eventually. for fun. because i wouldnt have to stop. its so tempting

literally no one would be mad about tje tumblr thing if it didnt obstruct OP's notes visibility. all this info was already viewable via like the post net diagram reach thing thats on desktop. thats all thats needed

like if it didnt subtract from OPs notes it could be an interesting function. like it could be interesting to see how much reach gets extended when someone adds an image id. or to know on a health PSA how many people have seen the first version of a post compared to a later addition. but since they made it subtractive it sucks ass

something i think about sometimes is if we got to a point where we could have photosensitivity settings on game startups as standard (similar to gamma and such), how would you communicate the intensity of the flashing/patterns to the viewer without just showing them? is not showing and just going "ayo this is our flashy mode and this is our 'meets xyz standards' mode enough? would that be enough to earn player trust?
