How do you tell whether you have dom Ne or dom Se?
this question has been sitting in my inbox for many months lol sorry dude. also this isn’t rlly systematic or anything, just some statements
dom Ne does a lot of fuckin mental bounce, they have head full of shit constantly. high Ne users are very likely to be nyoom a lot. also Fast Talking. Very Fast Talking. i’m friends with this one dude (he’s tert Ne, so he’s not this all the time, this applies when he’s just rlly fuckin excited) and today people told him they don’t have the capacity to listen to him bc he speaks just too fast and too much. Since dom Ne is more consistently like this, it actually looks less crazy, but still Fast Talking, Big Energy
high Se is not that. in fact, for me personally it rlly is head empty no thots all day every day. however what that means is that when we have to take action and do some fuckin topical thinking, we can do that very efficiently. dom Se ppl tend to look super chill. like even i, an sx blind, don’t seem all 👀 bc we just good at being aware lol
also dom Se ppl are really good at subconsciously observing patterns in other people. that’s basically the reason why high Se folks will go with vibe typing, bc just seeing what the types are like gives you enough info abt them that you can like See it in other ppl without being able to say necessarily which features are It
in other news one thing that i’ve noticed personally is that i learn very well from audial info and that’s also something that Dario Nardi’s found in his research, which i think is smth to consider. he also found that high Se brains tend to be in a constant state of being engaged in all areas, but at a low level, so that we’d be ready to jump in action at all times. high Ne however exhibits a pattern of engaging all areas of the brain at a high level at the same time when doing an activity. it’s pretty interesting, i kinda want to buy his whole book, bc i would rlly like more research with like actual brain scans on cognitive functions
i’m sure there’s more i could say but i’m tired and sleepy and it rlly just boils down to Ne being a fairly active type of function, whereas Se is more passive. if everything else fails, ask a high Se or Si user to type your aes lmao
