Do you realise that the only time Arthur literally forgot or disregarded Merlin was when he was with the old versions (dragoon & dolma)

Dragoon: “But I have... no horse.”

Arthur: you can use Merlin’s—

Dragoon: (゜ロ゜)

Arthur: “—he’ll, just have to walk back.

Dolma : aren’t you forgetting something...?!

Arthur: ...

Dolma:?

Arthur: ...

Dolma: *sighs*

Arthur: “... don’t think so.”

Dolma: ”the boy...”

I feel like he only ever forgot him, was because he didn’t really think he was gone! Perhaps it was some subconscious recognition that lead him to forget to acknowledge Merlin’s absence!

There’s a lot that can be said about these events!!!
