Oooooo that's a good one, I'd have to say found family, enemies to lovers, forbidden lovers, and Rivals that are actually best friends. How about you?

What is your upcoming audition for?

Oh! A local Shakespeare group does a young adult/youth professional training program over the summer and it's a really awesome experience! I'm already in the program, because I auditioned for the program last year and it got cancelled because of COVID, but we have to do a casting audition the week before we start rehearsal so they can figure out who's going to play what.

We're doing A Midsummer Night's Dream this year, which is my favorite Shakespeare play, so I'm very excited! Especially since this will be my last year with the program before I head to college.

Who fell first? (By that I mean fall from grace. Or had a breakdown in front of the other) Why?

Going by VAT7K here, I think it would be Varian, but only to an extent. Varian wouldn't really want to breakdown in front of Hugo (or the others) but things like stress, anxiety, and being homesick would really get to him. I'm sure they'd all seen him hurting and beat, broken and sad, and even the scarier parts of him that come out when he gets angry. Especially at the eternal library after the betrayal. I don't think seeing Varian in that state was what anyone expected, and not something Hugo would ever want to see again. I think this all comes from Varian being an easy read. He's not the best at hiding how he's feeling, so seeing when he's upset can let his friends know what to expect for the most part.

Hugo on the other hand has walls thick and hard as a cinderblock. If he doesn't want you to know how he's feeling, you won't. He's the type to know when he needs to break, and he'll hide away to do it. The first time he'd let this happen in front of Varian, it would most likely be from built up emotions, or a trauma induced breakdown out of what seemed like nowhere. Varian would probably be taken aback by just how pained Hugo's breakdowns are, never having expected that type of thing from someone so collected all the time.
