I'm fascinated by romance, but I think it's often done... with a focus on things I don't find interesting. I'm much more interested in the way people fall in love with the effect another person has on their life, both them as a person and the way they change their own behavior (or don't!) to build a life and a connection with them. That was the impetus behind Different From the Others, anyway.
