Born in the small island town of Magnolia Promenade and immigrating with her family to San Myshuno as a child, Lucy helped at her parents’ little grocery store, singing for customers and at church on Sundays. Obtaining a scholarship to the prestigious University of Britchester to study music, Lucy met her future husband, Preston Walcott, the only son of a very wealthy family in San Myshuno. They married after graduating and returned to San Myschuno, where Lucy began her dream career as an opera singer, establishing residency in the Uptown District. Tragedy struck not two years into their marriage, with Preston and his parents dying in the Great San Sequoia Earthquake during a business trip, leaving the entire Walcott fortune and business to Lucy. Having abandoned her dreams of the stage, Lucy has become a shrewd businesswoman with a penchant for glamour and adventure, and yet still only wears black, earning the nickname among friends and enemies as Widow Walcott. Six years have passed since her husband’s death, and Lucy is quite lonely. Perhaps it may take a bolder person to break out of her shell, but one can hope that someone will be the reason her wardrobe changes to color.
Side note: Lucy has only recently discovered her bisexuality, so she may be apprehensive when pursuing same-sex sexual/romantic interests, and plus, it's been a while since she's been in the dating game lol.
