DC Legion of Collectors - Women of DC
With as much as I loved Marvel’s Women of Power box, I thought for sure this one would wow me even more since I tend to love the DC women a little more than the Marvel chicks, but to be honest, it just didn’t do it for me. The best thing in this crate was the t-shirt (which I luckily got the villains version of), but again it’s a men’s cut box shirt that’s too big and shapeless on me, so I had to immediately destroy it by cutting it into something that would actually work on a woman’s body. The Pop figure was also a cool design, though Hawkgirl is unfamiliar to me and not nearly as unique as Squirrel Girl was in the Marvel crate. And even though I’m a huge Wonder Woman fangirl, this attempt at an older styled toy failed for me.
Hopefully both boxes will give the women another shot and do better the next time.
