We're getting new water mains and fire hydrants on our block. Today the water department had to empty and drain the fire hydrant closest to me. It created a nice health stream of cold, clean water down the street. Not going out and splashing around in it and sitting on the sidewalk with my feet in it would have been wasting that perfectly good water on this hot summer day. That is behavior I will not stand for! Never let it be said that I did not put that water to good use! Also I think it amused the front end loader driver. He waved, a little incredulously as he drove by!

lol woke up remembering that one time i lived in mph and several times at shows people lit many dollars on fire in our backyard.
