A ship I have with said character: ollistravekiln make me insaneeee though i'm not sure that what i do to them is 'shipping' in the traditional sense. i guess apannaveklin is closer to that but also apanna is practically just made up by @i-love-bernice-summerfield and me so. yea

A BROTP I have with said character: i am going to say leela even though nothing about them remotely says 'bro'. it's the two sides of the same coin thing. it's the veklin wants what leela has and doesn't understand why leela isn't grateful to be presidential bodyguard and trusted by rasmus and listened to by the general, why she provokes ollistra who will hurt her. it's leela being the only one who can see veklin for what she is - scared and alone; the way leela understands the way veklin doesn't belong and is smarter than anyone will give her credit for, the way that if veklin were to just stand on her own two feet and think with her own brain for a second, leela would be her ally

A NOTP I have with said character: um. hm. idk

A random headcanon: she smoked a lot when she was trapped in new york for those 70odd years and became a builder

I have so many good things to say about you where do I even begin. Your art and writing brings me so much joy, and I was honestly a bit starstruck when we became mutuals. Your art is so expressive and fun and I always get excited when you post more, and your writing is so good. My absolute favorite I think is this one that I literally cannot find other pictures of and it haunts me

My 5 little joys:

1. A really pretty grasshopper decided to sit on my bowstring while I was shooting outdoor archery on Monday and it let me transfer it to my finger to get a better look at it. It was a very, very pretty light green with blue legs it was wonderful

2. I smile every time I do my "oh we're really in it now Rani" bit with my Rani card

3. Walmart FINALLY had baskets available so I didnt have to take an entire shopping cart through the store to get my weekly like 3 things I needed to get

4. It rained yesterday and was cloudy so it was actually nice to be outside

5. I finally did the dishes so all of my favorite coffee mugs are once again available for use

12. Tell us about a WIP you’re excited about.

I have been absolutely drowning in Mel/Rani stuff so I havent touched much else lately, but I have a WIP that im slowly working on that I think will be really, really cool because it combines a lot of my specific DW fandom interests (Faction Paradox, Mel and Sixie, Ten and Donna, and whump, plus more exciting things) and lets me get weird with the structure of the writing itself. It's basically Faction Paradox trying and failing to assassinate the Doctor, and to try and remedy this, they target the companions who were instrumental in saving their life during the attempt. It's very non-linear and a little weird and I get to force Donna and Six to put up with each other, which is going to be so funny.

My one Mel/Rani fic might also be spawning a sequel but I'm still workshopping that idea and we'll see what comes out of it. The thought process so far is "the Rani should experiment on Mel. As a treat. How do I make them fuck about it without getting too dark."

16. Any guilty pleasure trope(s)?

I'm such a slut for a good poisoning or hypnotism trope my GOD. Also whipping I really like whipping. Non-whump tropes, I do really like forcing characters to have a good heart to heart.

25. Have you ever daydreamed about side adventures/spin-offs from your fic? Tell us about them!

This is actually why How to Domesticate a Time Lord is a whole series now cause I kept having little spin-off ideas from the main collection of one-shots that I didn't feel like fit in the main work. I have also had a lot of ideas for other stuff from Children of the Time War, but it's a lot of stuff about the OCs I made up for that series like Cyrus, so I haven't written them. They just live in my head.

33. Is there anything you wish your audience knew about your writing or writing process?

I do always think its really, really funny to tell people about where I write fics. I'm a wildlife biologist, and sometimes the inspiration strikes in the weirdest places. I actually got back into fanfic while I was actively living in a tent in the woods working as a tech on a research project. Early chapters of By the Stars were primarily written during my night work in between data gathering and then I would drive up the hill until I got cell service and post it. The Donna Noble brainrot was so so so bad it was crazy. I've also actively written fanfiction while helping out on prescribed burns. We would be waiting for something to burn in or we'd be eating lunch and I'd write a sentence or two.
