Corvus has been sitting in the same spot for hours now. She’s torn, because she’s not entirely sure what will happen to her herself..to her friend should she be successful in sealing them. She’s troubled, but she knows THIS is something that needs to be done. Arthur and her kids are gone and there’s no way to bring them back. This is not them being alive. They’re just a memory. Much like before. Much like before....They’re not alive. 

Corvus closes her eyes and exhales soft. Feniks perches on top her right shoulder and caws before taking flight into the sky once more. With her phone tracking system and Feniks, it won’t be a problem locating them. 

“I appreciate you wanting to help me.” She finally says, breaking the silence between her and Nagamasa.

“I don’t think...” Ismael doesn’t realize just how exhausted she looks. “There’s really no other way. We have to seal them or we’re both dying and I’m not entirely sure if we’ll be coming back if that happens.” Ismael’s had TWO different experiences with death here. What if this one’s more....PERMANENT? 

“I don’t know how you feel about it, but we may have to force them to go.”

✖ ———— “My patience is wearing thin, iblith,” comes a voice, sharp and menacing. “I know you are there. And if you are not a drow, I suggest you come out now before I decide to kill you all the same as the false valsharess.”

“Wahhh, enough, enough! I’m awake...!” Momo grumbles and reaches for his phone to quiet the noise. He squints against the brightness, confused. Certainly he didn’t set the alarm--or choose the voicemail screen by mistake. 

He flicks the side lamp on, awkwardly sitting up in the mountain of blankets, and blinks to adjust his eyes. Maybe the phone was broken or there was some glitch going around. Still, a message is a message and the blinking icon won’t go away forever. 

With a yawn, Momo taps the button and listens to the recording.

“Scary...” He plays the recording one more time, making sure to gather as many details as possible. A copy that can die with you? Sealing them away with an app? New areas? It sounds more like a video game than real life!

Momo bites his lip, a million more questions and methods racing through his head. Being too careless could mean possible death. Acting too rash could mean possible death. “..Dying really doesn’t sound like fun...so I have to do something then!” 

A deep breath. Then a slap of hands against his cheeks. “Okay...okay! This is easy! I can do that! Piece of cake!~”
