8. the food is inedible

"How did you found the restaurant my dear?" Henry asked nd looked around in the room.

"I just walked by here one day while I was shopping and I think it looks nice here… so I thought we should try it!" Cynthia smiled at him as she explained.

They didn’t see each other the whole day, so they talked about their day was, maybe a bit cliché, but Henry would always listen when Cynthia was talking, there was nothing more relaxing for him. He just loved her voice so much.

Henry and Cynthia looked up as they got their food. But they didn’t seem very happy about it. The food didn’t look good. Dry, old, maybe even a bit rotten.

"Well… uhm… looks… good…" Henry said while staring at his food, he didn’t want to upset Cynthia, he would rather go sick by this… food.

"Uhm… yes…" Cynthia agreed wary as they tried their food.

But it was even worse as it looked. Cynthia didn’t even dare to swallow this… stuff. So she grabbed her napkin to spit it ladylike out. Henry on the other hand was brave enough to swallow it, even he needed a moment to check if he was still alive and not instantly dead.

Henry tried to grin and not throw up as he looked up at Cynthia, which just had to laugh. "Henry, you really could swallow that?! The food is terrible!" she whispered to him. "I hope you won’t get sick on that…"

"Ahaha, don’t worry, I won’t die on that!" Henry laughed a bit nervous, at least he hoped so. Who knew how long the food was rotten?!

"How about some fastfood? I’m too tired to cook honey" Cynthia sighed and leaned back.

Henry nodded. "Sure, fine with me!" he angreed and was again amazed about Cynthia. She was all a man could dream off. Sexy, intelligent and she loved HIM. Of all men around the world, HIM. And it was just amazing that a classy woman who enjoyed sexy clothes and maybe some expensive stuff could just lean back and enjoy a hamburger just as much as she would watch him play some videogames.

He wasn’t sure why or how she deserved her, but he was damn sure that he would make everything to make her happy. And when his girl wanted some fastfood now, hell he would get her some burgers or whatever she would ask for!

Sure they had an argument with the owner of the restaurant because of their food before they left. There was no way in hell they would even pay for something like that. Before they went down the street to get some real food.
