disliking shiv isn't inherently misogyny because like. idk maybe you have personal reasons but shiv shitters-upon are consistently pulling out the misogyny so I generally don't trust them INCLUDING my mom . my mom has the worst succession takes btw except she's like 57 so she doesn't care about shipping so it could be worse in that respect. but she doesn't like shiv or connor or tabitha or willa or tom. I guess my secondary opinion is if you share those opinions then what the hell man

Greg isn't all that interesting until you look at him from a meta level like as an audience surrogate who comes to be apologetic toward these awful ppl just as we do *TO A DEGREE*... as in the audience liking to see them where Hopefully we wouldn't if they were real. but Greg is obviously worse LMAO. and using them/his new lifestyle for entertainment + enrichment/other benefit. & the parallels to him as an exaggerated form of the audience is like much more interesting than just. poor guy gets rich and has a weird boss. this is probably a stupid and very poorly communicated take but I stand by it
thinking about Roman and Frank again. why does he hate him so much gimme the lore. is he truly just breathing down his neck too much or what what's their beef
I am considering watching succession... give me your top 3 reasons to convince me >:-)
1. good message (rich people suck) with interesting characters (whose trauma is explored without going to the "being rich sucks" explanation which is stupid)
2. wicked funny at times but also devastating at times, it's got stuff for everyone
3. REALLY well-acted, Kendall's actor is actually who inspired me to act! kculk is more of my actual inspiration but Kendall's actor's podcast episode was about acting and kculk's was more abt his character yk

I'm mentally ill about Connor in the most embarrassing way and my MOM knows because someone let it slip but apparently it was incomprehensible bc I talked to her shortly afterward and she was like I have no idea what you're talking about. anyway I want him to be my dad.
