i wrote a very detailed analysis of succession and america’s democratic backslide and shiv’s billionaire politics and Tumblr froze up and did not save my draft so that will teach me to write anything substantive directly in this hellsite instead of writing it out in a word doc. 

for now i’ll just say i thought this episode was very very good and particularly smart about its subject matter if crushingly realistic, everyone is truly operating at their highest performance level, but especially Matthew Macfadyen who deserves all the awards.
