We have a tendency to look at others as competition.  The person across the cubicle aisle was promoted, and yet we may become jealous of their success.  We may look upon other professionals with envy as they experience their own successes.

Learn from others, but do not see them as competition.  Compete against your own expectations and goals.  Look within and challenge yourself to grow and succeed.

The other day I picked up a key to my very first place and it's kinda like a shared space with a bunch of other students but I got my own upstairs bedroom and free cable and Internet I'm really looking forward to pushing my own potential and maximizing all of my profits this year. Trying to buy a car and throw some fucking wheels on it and flex behind the camera start doing shit with my life again. Maybe I might even learn how to just drink and watch TV and not feel like I have to be constantly doing something or hanging out with people or getting high. Maybe now I can actually have some fucking time to myself and not have all these people running me around and bitching at me for nothing. It's going to be so peaceful. I can finally save up some money; my next move will be to get the fuck out of food delivery but it's hard to find anything that pays as good when you're a fucking dropout. Oh well I can stick with it until next year if I have to but I need the white car with the gold wheels yesterday. When I buy it I'm going to keep driving my parents car and not let on to it just have 2 fucking whips to step out to one I can fix and one I drive slowly so nothing breaks while I learn the ins and outs. Gold wheels it's gonna be lit for me this year after everything I went through last year I really feel like nothing can stop me and these motherfuckers in these streets know better this year I swear to god I'm not playing with them. I feel like I can be okay now.
