The anime has Mob acting much more demure by this point in the story than he is shown to be in the manga. I thoroughly enjoyed this type of reaction that was peppered in every once in a while. Not only are these interjections always kind of snarky and enjoyable as hell, they’re proof that he’s really not as naive as everyone [Reigen, Dimple, and even us as readers] assumes. It’s so so so easy to get caught up in protective feelings towards this adorable boy that you forget just how capable and he really is.
