spikes the eggnog? Ion doesn’t really drink eggnog to begin with because it’s too sweet. Luke wouldn’t have much interest in spiking it because he doesn’t want to have to deal with stupid people more than he has to. Though as a revenge plot, maybe—
hangs the stockings? Ion likes to! He sort of covets putting them out and stuffing the them with little trinkets (also blessed stones). Luke is just there to make sure he doesn’t fall into the fire place.
leaves cookies and milk out to keep up with the santa tradition? Luke is secretly Santa’s number one fan even if Guy and/or Jade always remind him that he’s probably on the naughty list again. Ion always leaves a gift that’s “from Santa” if Luke surrenders to baking the cookies and putting the milk out.
"accidentally" throws away the fruitcake: If by throw away you mean give to Ion because that boy will eat everyone’s fruitcake. He sympathizes with it DON’T THROW IT OUT IT’S PERFECT AND GOOD AND DESERVES APPRECIATION.
goes overboard on the whipped cream? ION BECAUSE IT NEEDS TO ALL BE WHITE LIKE SNOW HE LOVES SNOW IN DAATH TBH. just. all the snow. even if he always gets a cold afterwards which results in bed rest for like week.
is the inevitable Christmas grinch? Ion is pretty much the closest thing because sometimes he’ll forget it’s Christmas even if they’ve been planning for weeks. Luke ends up being really surprised by it.
wakes up first on Christmas? Either or. I feel like they both like sleeping in if they can get away with it, especially on a day where they have no obligations.
rolls their eyes as the same cheesy carol plays in the stores for the millionth time? Luke. The first three times were fine. The tenth time is pushing it and his blood pressure is about to skyrocket.
starts playing Christmas music the day after Halloween? Ion, mostly because he holds it over Luke’s head that they both get to see another Christmas. It’s not like he’s excessive about it, he’s just the most likely to let it play if it comes up.
decorates the Christmas tree? Everyone gets involved with the tree!! Every year someone new gets to put the star on top and if it’s Ion’s turn he is not going to say no to being lifted ok. It’s a privilege to put the star on. He probably gets more excited about it than Luke, at least.
