1) is there a story you’re holding off on writing for some reason?

Yes. I have about 25k written of a famous!Darren / not famous!Chris crisscolfer AU that I just can’t keep myself working on. Probably because it’s too on the nose.  And other reasons.

4) favorite character you’ve written?

Uh, none of my characters are OCs, really (though there’s an argument to be made that fanon versions of real people could count as OCs because we really don’t know much about those people and are only using conjecture but anyway), but I think I enjoy writing from Chris’ POV the most? I think?

9) what, if anything, do you do for inspiration?

I usually listen to music. It’s less about doing something for inspiration, rather than randomly being inspired by a quote, or a lyric, or a bit of overheard dialogue and then running with it.

10) write in silence or with background noise? with people or alone?

Alone, but with music or something on the TV that I can easily tune out, like a baking competition show.  I can’t really write with other people around.

24) have you ever become an expert on something you previously knew nothing about, in order to better a scene or a story?

Uh, I did a fair amount of googling about tarot cards for a Sterek thing I wrote. And a similar about of Googling about herbs and whatnot for the cc witch!AU I did, but I also recognize that I’d never actually finish writing anything if I spent the amount of time researching it would take to become an expert.  But I never just want to make something up about a thing that I know other people care about.

I already answered this a couple days ago but....there are more book releases so....I’m super excited for Crown of Gilded Bones by Jennifer L Armentrout that’s coming out on April 20th. I may or may not have already ordered one special edition box (from BookishBox) and may or may not want to order a second special edition box (from FairyLoot) hahaha 😅

how are you?

I am currently LIVING AND DYING at the same time over the fake marriage trope AND the impossible love trope (between a shadowhunter and a ghost) in Chain of Iron by Cassandra Clare...my heart HURTS but it’s GREAT.

I technically didn’t finish Tower of Dawn...I skipped it because I needed to get to Kingdom of Ash before I died of suspense. I say technically because I didn’t exactly start it but I consider it like not finishing the series so...I’m going back. I also picked up a few books after I finished bingeing From Blood and Ash and A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire but didn’t finish them (Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa and Crescent City by SJM) because I was in such a reading slump/book hangover....CASTEEL HAWKETHRONE DA’NEER RUINED ME, OKAY? I WAS IN A BAD WAY. I still am...I want to re-read them because I’m insane.
