Laura Peña, a 67-years-old Salvadoran woman, rolls tobacco leaves to make handmade cigars in her house in Suchitoto, El Salvador. Hand rolled cigars have always been smoked or used for religious purposes in El Salvador. However, nowadays, due to the low profitability and general unpopularity of tobacco, the art of cigar hand rolling has practically vanished. Although Mrs. Peña has been rolling cigars for about 60 years, she claims to never smoke one.
