IRON GIANT
by Such Styles and Champ Styles
The family that paints graffiti together . . . Noe Baez, aka Such Styles, started painting the walls of Phoenix in his youth, eventually catching the eyes of galleries and collectors, and now more than 35 years later he seems to have lost little enthusiasm for his art. With all the sibling and couple duos painting together, cross-generational pairings are less common but Style's son Champ has followed in his footsteps and @ValleyMetro credits their unique style to the combination of "new generation ideas meshed with old school traditions." The father/son duo created this work in early 2018 when Phoenix Mural Project launched the Phoenix Mural Festival as part of its mission to celebrate and support the artists of the city. This wall is at Polk St and 15th Ave, just off the Grand Avenue Arts and Preservation corridor. @_suchstyles/ @champ_styles/ @muralsofphoenix/ @historicgrandave/
