The city of Priapens could not be called much of a city at all. Ruins fill its borders, speaking to an ancient glory once held by the Elpisian Empire. the majority of Priapens' inhabitants are preserved and showcased remains of people and pokemon caught in Mt. Schrei's eruption thousands of years ago. The city attracts a macabre audience, gawkers and scholars alike flock to view its grim spectacle.
Mikhail, the gym leader of Priapens, is seen by many to be an eccentric, to put it lightly. The bones with which he adorns his clothing intimidate many challengers, and disgust many others. His fierce fighting demeanor is merely a show put on for the media, and his true interests lie in archeology and geology. His gym is the ruins of a temple, and challengers must delve into an active excavation site to face him in battle.
Mikhail's Marrowak has been his companion since childhood. Hatched by Mikhail's father and given to him at a young age, Mikhail wondered for many years at the odd coloring of every other Cubone and Marrowak. Why weren't they lime green? He has since stopped asking, tired of the incredulous silence that his friends have customarily responded with.
