In der Finsternis

Leuchtet jedes Glühwürmchen doppelt so hell.

Diese surrende Lichtgestalt bei Nacht hat mich um den Schlaf gebracht. Kreaturen der Nacht sind erwacht.

Lasse mein zerwühltes Bett zurück. Belasse es nicht beim ausharren. Lasse mich wie ein Narr in die Dunkelheit fallen.

Laufe von Füßen und Pfoten getrampelte Pfade entlang.

Biss ich kein Nachtlicht mehr erkennen kann.

Die Morgenröte das Ende einläutet, ich mich im Moos zu Betten weiß und ich die Spielende Leuchtkäfer auf die Nacht vertröste.

Ohne Verdruss geben sie mir einen Guten Nacht Kuss am Morgen Nimmermehr geahnt die Sorgen.

Nun trage ich ihr leuchten auch am Tage in mir.

Seitdem leuchte ich doppelt so hell.

We’re all very grateful to the BBC for covering every inch of Glastonbury Festival each year, but everyone knows the best celebrity stories that come out of Glasto aren’t happening anywhere near the stage.

Last year’s celebrity highlights included Louis Tomlinson wheeling a TV into camp to watch the footie and Dua Lipa being accosted by a ukulele-playing “busker”, only for her uncomfortable expression to go wildly viral.
