I recently posted a 6k fic on AO3. My secret is... I wrote the entire thing in one day 😳 I never write that much in a day, especially not in English, but that day I woke up with the entire fic perfectly clear in my head, from beginning to end, so I jumped out of bed to "outline" it and ended up just...writing. I didn't even re-read a single sentence to edit it or obsess over it, I just kept going and going. It was BIZARRE and above all it was AMAZING, but most importantly: how tf do I do it again?!

The more I look at Marvel comics these days, the more I see how strongly its changed. Most of the storytelling we loved is gone and while we do still get some fantastic runs occasionally (Ms Marvel forever!) a lot of the characterisation and lore building many of our favourites were prone to receiving is either removed and/or replaced with much less then before. I stick around cause we still get good content like Kamala and Immortal Hulk, just wish we had some of the old magic back for the rest.

yeah 😭😭😭😭 every now and then we get really good stories like ms marvel, nova, champions, etc but a lot of the big/main titles are really lacklustre :/// they dont make stories like they used to
