The BQ is on the low because the PQ is on the low. The mainstream has no interest in independence as of now. We elected the PQ recently, they did shit, so we re-elected the Liberals, and they're doing shit, but overall the PQ was only elected because ppl were tired of the Liberals. Québécois don't learn from their mistakes lol. They don't believe in the BQ since what, 4, 8 years? Meh.

Harper's advertising tactics: other parties are crap, vote for me or we'll all die. He just launched the campaign and he already has a long ad on TV (it's at the most popular news channel in Quebec) repeated twice during ad breaks during news and tbh it's just going to irk people even further. Quebec is probably going to vote NDP again, and a bit LPC (because some think the NDP isn't serious enough because of some deputies who weren't even actually willing to get elected were elected).

Quebec, please paint yourselves orange again. :D

I'm sorry that I can't find any source, there should be some soon, but I just heard on the news that the federal gov is cutting subventions to a local support group for pedophiles that keeps a lot of dangerous potential recidivist at bay. It's in Quebec, but it was funded 100% by the federal gov for M$89 because it's for convicted pedophiles. Thought you might want to hear about it and keep an eye out for a source.

Another program like that? I thought you were talking about Circles of Support & Accountability which was axed by Harper in 2004:

I couldn’t find the Quebec program that was cut, but if anyone finds a source, let me know.
