Where did my power come from? How did it happen? Maybe I’ll find answers there. Maybe I won’t. But I need to try to get there. It’s the least I can do.

✨AND here is the plot synopsis:✨

Eleven-year-old Dany has been on the run with their caretaker Marisa for two years--on the run from people who want to cut Dany apart and take their superpower.

But now Marisa is dead, and consumed by grief, Dany only has one goal: to reach the small town of Suddence, a place holding secrets, answers, and most importantly, closure. With the help of recent college dropout Zahira, the duo embark on their strange little road trip.

But there's something Dany isn't telling Zahira, and it's a secret that will change everything.
