Hmmm, I just hope that this season will end with Lucifer boxed up for good or dead, because I cannot take that character any longer and any story surrounding him. I still think it was the worst idea to bring Lucifer back this season. They should have just let him have died when Amara pulled him from Cas, but oh well, useless to whine about as it didn’t happen lol.

Now, bold choice. Hmmm, I suppose Kelly is still captured by Daegon. So.. given she knows she’ll die, her trying to kill herself would not make sense, so I guess it will be something else. Curious what Sam may “come up with”. I imagine it may be something like a pre-emptive “excorcism” or “grace withdrawal” maybe? Though that would be super creepy. I find the whole thing with the baby super creepy tbh, because I personally absolutely ca’t picture the show to actually kill a new born baby or anything like that and both of the things mentioned before could be seen as “torture” for an unborn child, so I don’t know... It’s problemtic. But Maybe it’ll be a spell that would mute the child’s powers or something.

I still think that Cas in the end - even if atm he may play for Heaven and would try and kill the child - will side against Heaven and maybe as I speculated before ward the child and mother in some way to hide them from all angels and demons or so, which ofc ourse would cause the ultimate break with his heavenly “so called” family.

And yeah, Dean and the Colt... I still refuse to believe that Dean knows the full story about eh Colt, because Dean would have had a different reaction to seeing it. I think Sam only told Dean that the BritMoL were able to get their hands on the Colt, but has left out the details about how and how Mary basically had chosen that gun over her sons.

And like I said yesterday speculatively, I think Mary may be the one who will steal the Colt, because of the deal she may have made with the BritMoL in which they may help her travel back in time so that she could use the Colt on Azazel and with that undoing the tragedy she started with making a deal. Or Ketch and her stole it to shoot Kelly and the baby in her belly, but yeah, I can’t picture that happen in an american tv show. And well, if she went through with that (which of course she won’t because Sam and Dean will stop her from doing that), that would chance “the future”. I do rather think the future referred to with the title is the baby, which is the future “evil” or something.

I am going to say yes promo pics both in leather jackets but I keep looking at the pics from on set and I believe Dean does have a leather jacket. He is the one who has always worn leather Sam has never. So I think the jacket Sam is wearing dark in color but has a leather look but not shiny like Dean's. And is 12x07 the hunters funeral?

Yes, the promo pictures definitely seem to be leather jackets in both cases. With the set pics you raise a good point about maybe Sam’s just being a darker shade but not leather. That’s what I find interesting to see once the episode rolls around, because like I said in the post and you also say, Sam has never worn leather. So it’s almost feeling strange if he started wearing it now. Would certainly be something though to analyze as this is a very conscious wardrobe choice similarly to Cas trading his trenchcoat for the one he wears now. So Sam getting a leather jacket to me would have also implications relating to the character identity wise.

Oh and good thought about the boys maybe wearing black due to the funeral, that idea hadn’t even crossed my mind, but that would definitely make sense. No clue though if 12x07 is the episode with the hunters wake. Are they this far along with shooting already? Time flies... :)
