She’d done trial runs before - sneakily sussed out his food preferences, carefully picked out a box from her collection that wasn’t too cutesy, tested different recipes, even went so far as to actually bring the final product with her to class, only to chicken out when it came to delivering it. But not today! She was giving it to him today! No backing out!
Sending him a text right before lunch, Alice gathered all the courage she’d built up over the past few days and brought both lunches with her outside, meeting him at their usual place. “Sugawara-kun.” Smiling, she offered him a bow in greeting, unable to keep a soft shade of pink from coloring her cheeks as she timidly handed him the bamboo bento box.
“I... made you lunch.”
