I was at the store the other day, and I bought some Sugar Bee apples. Of course, I started singing Sugar Bee, first recorded by Cajun singer Cleveland Crochet. Lots of people have covered the song but I kinda like this rock n’ roll version by Vince Everett. Taking his name from Elvis’ character in Jailhouse Rock, Marvin Benefield was one of many people who took inspiration from Elvis.
