It’s crazy how much your body changes when you start eating better!!
My life has changed dramatically in these past few months! I graduated, moved 4 hours away, and have been so so busy! I have not been able to regularly work out (I think I have gone running maybe twice since I moved here in May!) but I want to start prioritizing that more in the future.
But the biggest life change has been my eating. While studying for boards I was constantly snacking on chips and cheetos and whatever I could get my hands on. Then finally my body was like STOP THERE ARE NO NUTRIENTS HERE and I just started craving salads and real food in the worst way. I discovered cucumbers + olive hummus (SO SATISFYING LET ME TELL YOU) and just snacking on fruits and veggies. So simple I know but ugh SO GOOD!
And I started making my own salads at home with lettuce, beets, pickles, grilled chicken, avocado, boiled eggs, and raspberry vinagrette dressing. AND IM STILL OBSESSED.
So basically just started eating better and my body shows it!

In this chocolatey protein hit there are 248kcal per punnet with 13g of healthy fats, 25g of carbs from the whole rolled oats and 9g of protein with an added bonus of 3g of fibre! Also it is 100% plant based and vegan friendly 🌱 I love it to get my fat and protein count up after the huge amount of carbs I seem to eat while traveling! 🙈

One of my favourite things about being home is the availability of fresh fruit! Winter in the UK means that the produce section can get a little boring (there are only so many apples, oranges, and bananas a girl can eat). Dubai, on the other hand, imports fresh fruit + veg from around the world, so you can get literally anything you want all year round! Pictured are fresh strawberries from Egypt and delicious blueberries from South Africa - yum!
