FINALLY, THEYRE ALL HERE!
The New Generation Of Heroes!
★ THE NEXT GENERATION OF HEROES, PARENTAL DYNAMICS!!★
( excuse me for any mischaracterzations of the beasts... I don't know their characters all that well yet!)
(★ @batshikns ... feels nessecary to tag you in this)
Pure Vanilla + his children.
★ Frozen yogurt, being his first child, already establishes a heavy attachment to each other. He absolutely loves his eldest. No matter how much he grows or how he changes, he will always be there to extend a hand to him and welcome him back into his open arms. Pure Vanilla, however, has concerns about his isolation. He tries to get him to make more friends, introduce him to other cookies, and what not. But he watches as they all misunderstand and leave Yogurt behind all alone. So, he picks him up, holds him tight in hopes that he gets the message that "I will always be here for you." But that isn't always something Frozen Yogurt remembers. When both his children do end up spiraling down, he can't help but still blame himself for not trying enough. Maybe if he had been there with Yogurt during that first revelation, this wouldn't have happened. He's not a perfect parent. No one is. There are times when he messes up, times when he has to look to both Hollyberry and Dark Cacao for help. But one thing will always remain: He will have himself ready for his children no matter what happens to them. He is always ready to lead them back on the path if they stray.
★ Cream Vanilla and him are close enough. She's his little angel. Beautiful little girl, whose smile is as bright as the sun. However, he seems to be too careful with her sometimes, and that can frustrate her. He's careful of what he says, but sometimes that little slip of the truth can hurt her by accident. It's not something that's huge, but over time, it can do something to Cream Vanilla. She knows she's not as great as her older brother, but can't understand why Pure Vanilla can't be honest to her about it.. I mean, it's what everyone thinks, right? But Pure Vanilla believes wholeheartedly that she is capable, just not in what Frozen Yougurt's able to achieve. Elsewhere, she will thrive, and he wants to tell her that, but the misunderstanding of his words is something that sticks to Cream Vanilla because because the mindset she's grown to have. Nontheless, he will love her no matter how much she grows to disdain him or curse him. He just wishes that she would wake up from the lies that she's built to protect herself and see that maybe she too has a chance at a fulfilling life.
Shadow Milk + his children
★ Shadow Milk never thought he'd ever be a father, but now here he stands. Despite all the knowledge he's collected over the years, nothing would have ever prepared him for fatherhood to this extent. He, truthfully, tries his best with Frozen Yogurt. Tries to teach him how to hone his magic, and they do form a relationship. One that's genuine, however, with flaws. Shadow Milk is more pushy with him to certain extents, too weary of him ending up like him someday. And when he finally does, Shadow Milk can't help but wonder - was it his insistence that he get out and really show out, caused this? After all, his son can only take so much, he wasn't born to be alone. With raising him, Shadow Milk takes a little bit of a different approach. With Vanillas' all-too-caring nature, someone has to be there to also be a little firmer. That doesn't change the fact that he loves his son. And when the end of his manic episode comes, when push comes to shove, and all has been said.. Like his husband, he will be ready to welcome him back. Albeit, he'll be a little more scolding, ruffling his hair and shaking his head, telling him to never attempt something like that again, all in good nature, though! He was definitely an emotional parent the very least. Part of him kept the joker side of himself, so trust me when I say that Frozen is tired of the badly timed dad jokes. He knows that he says them to spite him, and that's what he hates. They do love each other though.
★ Cream Vanilla? Oh they were the closest with each other! When she was younger, he'd dress up with her, make puppet shows, and other things for her to enjoy. She truly was his little princess. He sees a lot of Candy Apple in her, and that sort of endears him a little, so willing to learn and understand everything around her. However, he can't help but notice as she got older, she tried to avoid him. Was it something he said or did? Was it because he managed to call her out on every lie she told..? I mean, being his daughter, and him being the master of lies, it wasn't hard to tell-- atleast to himself-- when she was lying. What did she want to lie about anyway? Maybe it was how she truly felt, abandoned.. Not enough, never enough for everyone else? He hates the thought of her self-loathing. Does she even know how much he adores her? How much will he give up for her and her brother? Albeit, he is a little blind to her jealousy towards her older brother, and doesn't understand her reasonings then. When she turns away from them for good, he can't help but feel conflicted. He learns of how she feels truthfully, how she lied just like him to protect herself and others from the world that they live in. He then finds that he understands her, and he will use that understanding to drag her back into the light, just as his other half did with himself.
Golden Cheese + Her children
★ Golden Cheese adores her first son dearly. Her children are her dearest treasures through it all! Goldie is a very involved mother within her child's life. Always checking in, always making sure Pepperjack has enough of everything. She even offered to train him in his combat, seeing as he uses a spear too! She teaches him to hold his head up high, never let the world make you kneel, instead make the world kneel to you. However, she can't help but sense the slight itch of doubt he has. He can't act as tall as he does around her, for she will see it. Golden Cheese makes it her goal to make him fully believe that he is capable of taking on her throne. Leading his people as he should, but sometimes, they can and will argue about it. Pepperjack is too careful. He needs to be bolder. Being too safe will only get so far. He needs to find a balance between the two as she has. Because they're both such large personalities, there's bound to be clashes in between and some distance. In the end, they resolve it through Spice having to convince her to try again with him. After all, that's what she did with Spice. Why not lend a hand to their son?
★ Her and Saffron have a good bond. Not nearly as close as she is with Pepperjack, as Saffron is most definitely more attached to Spice. That does not change that they have a loving relationship, however. She finds his determination to be admirable and his spirit? Just as bright as hers, maybe even more! She's proud of him in a way. However, with his stubborn mindset, destructive tendencies- even if they are unintentional - she is a little worried about his future. However, Golden Cheese will let time work its magic, as it has with her and everything else, and let the lessons he's learned change him for the better. She knows that with enough pushing, she'll get him on the right track. It's just a matter of getting him to listen... Quite honestly, Golden Cheese herself is still new to this whole parenting thing in the end and is trying to learn and figure out this new chapter of her life. As perfect as she tries to be, parenting can be challenging.
★ Kofta is her little mini me, her darling little princess that she spoils to no end. She'll dress her up in the finest of clothing, gift her everything she seems to ask for. Of course, there's a limit, Golden Cheese needs to set boundaries somehow. Kofta is a mommy's girl through and through. They go shopping for things together, they do spa days together - everything! There are points of tension between the two, just your average bickering between child and parent; you know, letting the girl take her own steps, let her be more independent. And sure, Golden Cheese understands that her children will leave the nest one day, but she can't help but want them to stay, at least Kofta to. Pepperjack was independent enough and matured faster than she expected. So it has just been her and Kofta for a while because Saffron will mature as well. Kofta, of course, understands her mothers longing for her children, but does remind her that she will have their father too. Eventually, Golden Cheese will let her go, maybe after arugement or two. Only to find that they will still be her babies, no matter how much they grow. Her precious little jewels through and through.
Burning Spice + his children
★ Spice was even more surprised and even more unprepared to be a father than Shadow Milk was. He was already a little uneasy around children, fearing that he'd unintentionally hurt such fragile things. When Pepperjack was first born, he was oh SO careful holding him, feeding him and what not. He was terrified of ever hurting something he finally created. Eventually, the scare goes away, and he adjusts to have little Pepperjack around. He often teaches him the history of the world around him, how the cycle of change begins and ends, how he has a very large responsibility on his back of upholding it when he's old enough. He tries his best to guide Pepperjack in the way Burning Spice thinks he should have gone before corruption. Teaching him that destruction is necessary for new roots to grow in place. But still, there is that overlooking fear he has that he will fail his children, and in turn, his wife too. Pepperjack and him don't argue a lot about much, but when they do, it does get messy. He kind of has to knock sense into him to try and reconnect with his mother during points of distance, but it's just for his sake in the end. Very much huge papa bear vibes from him <3
★ Spice and Golden Saffron are tight-knit. He teaches the boy how to fight and use an axe or other close ranged weapons! He worries the most about his future, though. Because he recognizes his thinking process, he recognizes that little part of himself in him. So he will sit him down, warn him and tell him that all that he had worked for, all that he has done to better himself would have been for nothing if Golden Saffron looses himself to destruction. He is a storyteller at heart and takes Saffron through the historic ruins of his temples and what not to bond with him. For the most part, growing up, they had a good relationship. Spice would help Saffron with those powers of his.. But the older Saffron got, the more pressure was applied on him, and that seemed to sort of cause a little rift in the relationship they have. Small arugements over outbursts turned into larger disagreements. Finally, everything comes out, and they resolve it through an intense spar. This time, Golden Cheese is the one to smack them both into sense to get along. They eventually reconnect and find peace.
★ Kofta is his pride and joy.. No, literally, he is doting on her from day one. From allowing her to dress him up in pink, huge bows, and telling her exaggerated stories about him and her mother.. Those are some of the better memories they have together. Just enjoying each other's company, Kofta looks up to her father. She thinks he's strong, one of the strongest people she will ever have the pleasure of meeting. That doesn't really change the older she gets. Sure, they turn their hangouts into more mature things-- like sparring or running errands together. However, they do tend to argue over Koftas own ever expanding ego and how she might need to tone it down a little. Other than that, it's a loving relationship between them, probably the one child Spice fights with the least, much to Golden Cheeses pleasure. Overall, she trusts him and looks to him for help, too. She enjoys messing with him as well, as much as she loves him. I mean, sure that gets her chased around, but it's all in good, loving nature between her and her papa <33
White Lily + Her child (and reaction to her untimely death)
★ Nodding Lily was White Lily's little miracle, her blessing from above. She adores her baby girl and finds their similarities in physical appearance, in almost everything so fascinating. She's always wanted to be a mother, wanting to know how it felt like to raise a cookie from the start. So she tries her best to be mentally prepared for her, to be there when she needs it. She absolutely encourages her creativity, and Nodding Lily finds her mothers support to be her stone when creating. They don't argue at all. Rather, they will sit and talk it out because they aren't the type to aruge. Whatever issues they have, Lily and her can resolve through peaceful conversation.. To a degree. White Lily isn't a perfect mom, but she sure is trying her hardest.. As for how she takes Nodding Lily's death? Oh, she's grieving, mourning her every hour of the day. There's a sort of bitterness that grows within her towards the others. How come their child wasn't subjected to Nodding Lily's own self-sacrificing power.. Was it her? Was it her fault that she let her child be pushed to the edge? She only now has her partner and can be seen holding onto them tighter ever since their child died. She had her whole life ahead of her, and now this? Was this how it felt like to loose too..? Maybe she understands the bitterness that Golden Cheese holds against her better now that she's experienced loss of her own. White Lily will leave her flowers every time, hoping that her baby, from wherever she's watching, will understand that she's still looking out for her.
Silent Salt + their child (and their reaction to her untimely death)
★Silent Salt.. How should I put it? Was it somewhat prepared? I mean, they understood this is what White Lily wanted the most, and who are they to deny her of anything? Come to find, they absolutely adore her too. She teaches them how to be more open-minded, stop oppresing certain parts about themselves, and teaches them how to be creative. In return, they teach her how to fight, use her powers, and try to guide her through a path of unity and solidarity instead of the crushing path of oppression. Often, they would be found walking together, painting or doing other things. They have this special spot near the old silver tree, where her and them have planted three lilies. One large purple one, the other a medium-sized white lily, and the last a small magenta Nodding Lily in the middle. Its a reminder that the three of them are a family forever. With the lessons she has taught them, they instill in her that her biggest source of support are the people that she holds close to her heart, and she reminds her to always look to them for everything, including themselves. They, too, don't argue, but they take concern to her, wearing herself out by being too much of a giver to everyone else. Remind her that she still is someone and a daughter to them besides being everyone's doormat. But.. to their utter, utter dismay, they still lost her. Failed her. Let her die, especially when it was in front of them and Lily. They couldn't save her from it, from the slow and painful wilting she took to her demise. They couldn't stop it. Her death was traumatic to her parents. Silent Salt had a hard time coping. They didn't know what to do or how to even come to terms with it. They just held onto White Lily even tighter, trying to keep her close, as close as they could so that they didn't lose her too. They sit in silence at her grave, at that special place they had together. Their silence speaks volumes, though. The wind howls, and it seems to convey the agony they feel. They light candles in her honor and even lay their helmet beside her grave as a reminder that she isn't alone.. even in the afterlife. They will carry her legacy within them, but that doesn't change the fact that she is gone.
Dark Cacao + his daughter
★ Choco Oat and him have such a complex relationship. He sees a lot of him within her, but also not. He understands the need she has to keep her kingdom and her people safe, but wants her to understand so desperately that she needs to stop and take it easy sometimes. But she is stubborn and unreltning, and he is too. That causes frustration that boils down into a huge argument. They also tend to bicker about smaller thing.. Choco Oat never really found it in herself to truly forgive her father for what he's done to Dark Choco. There's that, too. But she knows that he's trying. There are sweet moments between them where she'll climb onto his back as he sits.. filling out documents and whatnot. He'll braid her hair for her or style it when she can. They are still loving, and she has a somewhat better childhood than Choco had. Because he has learned from his past mistakes. He's as patient as he can be with her in the end, but sometimes it gets frustrating to talk to such a perfectionist. He does not understand why she must overthink every minute detail until he steps back and realizes he, too, in a way, was like that. But he cannot voice his sympathy for her without her retalating.. Insiting that she was fine and could handle it on her own. When her powers first came in, he was terrified that she would misuse them and end up like Dark Choco. So, he would encourage her to put its use to a minimum and try her best to repress it. Choco Oat somewhat understands, but doesn't as well.. Part of her wants to be free to use it, and feels slight bitterness about her father's response to it, the other part of her undersands that her and Dark Cacao share a common goal of wanting to protect the kingdom.. And that includes protecting them from her own power, too. But Mystic Flour takes notice of this, and rest assured she and Dark Choco will not tolerate this distance between them. After a long and angsty argument, they finally are honest and open-minded with each other, embracing one another as father and daughter do.. and with the help of Mystic Flour and his son, they build a better bond and learn to be there for each other when it was needed.
Mystic Flour + her daughter.
★ Choco oat and her are closer than she is with Cacao. Mystic Flour understands her baby girl and was actually the most prepared one to have a child as Cloud Haetae is not far from one. Though she has her own fears, she knows that under the right guidance, Choco Oat will turn out just fine. They spend some quality time together, weaving shrouds, tapestrys that tell stories. She often weaves silken robes for her daughter, and most of the clothes Choco Oat wears is from her mother. Because Mystic Flour seems to be the only one who understands her sense of style and comfort at the same time. Mystic Flour and her often pray and meditate together, too. She teaches her how to be a good tender to the pagoda and introduces her to Go and whatnot. As for points of tension, mainly it is Choco Oats' ever lasting perusit perfection for herself. Mystic Flour thinks it is.. well, outlandish at times, but she is not one to outright harshly judge her daughter. She will sit her down and talk to her sternly instead about reconnecting with her father and taking a break once in a while. It's only really up to her if she wants to listen now or later, but Mystic will take a page out of her husbands book and will be patient and unreltning with her. As for how she handles Choco Oats powers, unlike Dark Cacao, she tries and encourages her to use them freely in a safe area. Be in tune with them, channel them so that she too can use it for the greater good. Though Cacao is not fond of the idea at first, Mystic convinces him later on after that argument, and soon enough, Choco Oat will learn how to accept even the ugliest parts of herself. For chosing to be ignorant will only lead her down a path of Apathy.
Hollyberry + her twin children
★ Candied Berry and her? Absolute partners in the more daring activities! Hah, there would even be periods where her and Holly would run off together for a bit, go on a hunting trip for a week or two, and come back with spoils to share! Needless to say, they are very close. Hollyberry has finally found an equal with her for her passion, her bravery, her hope is so inspiring. Ever since Candied was a little girl, she would get herself into dangerous situations most of the time, and yes, that would concern Hollyberry. There are points where Holly thinks she's a little too bold, and that cause tension between them, they either spar it out or have a messy talk about it.. Candied Berry also tends to sort of nag her on taking so much Berry juice in daily.. She loves her mama, but too much is too much sometimes, and Candied wants her to know that! Of course, Holly stops when her children ask her. She's not the type to prioritize her juice over her kids, of course. Eventually, through her help, Holly will cut back on that addiction of hers.. But it's going to take a while between the both of them to help each other improve and be better. Hollyberry is willing to be there for her every step of the way, and she can only hope that Candied finds bravery within herself to face her own inner challenges just as she has faced her own long ago.
★ Sugared Berry reminds her of Royalberry in a sense. She finds his calmness to be equally grounding as her wife's own and finds that he and Eternal Sugar are voices of reasons to her and Candied. However, Sugared Berry is more insistent that his mother should take on healthier eating habits, take better care of herself, and what not. He often feels concern for her, and Hollyberry appreciates that. She too also finds that his burn out days can be rough on him too, and reminds him as well that he is still a cookie as well and needs his own rest periods. They don't find much to argue about, except for days where they just can not understand each other eye to eye.. However, Hollyberry is a good listener and will listen to her sons cries and calls, whatever their current state of tensions are. Also, it is worth noting that Hollyberry is one of Sugared Berry's biggest supporters musical career wise, she's always there clapping the loudest during his performances, and will encourage him to be passionate about it too! No matter how discouraged he may get. She will always be there to remind him to keep moving on and to stay passionate for the things he loves. Because she has been a mother before, and having new children doesn't mean she loses the lessons she learned with her first child.
Eternal Sugar + her twin children
★ One of the ones who are less prepared for kids.. Twins at that. She wasn't expecting two kids, but she would love them both deatly anyway. Candied Berry is much like her wife in a lot of aspects, passionate, brave, bold, and daring. For that, Eternal Sugar feels sort of endearment towards her. But she doesn't know where to start with teaching them anything, what to say - how to lead them to a life of happiness. She often looks to her wife for advice and tries her best to channel it, too. However, for Candied, she finds it harder to connect with her because of her nature being so different from Eternal Sugar's own. She still loves her, don't get me wrong, but there's a clear distance between her and Sugar sometimes that they're trying desperately to overcome, but it seems near impossible at times. Eternal Sugar can't quite wrap her head around the activities that Candied deems fun and was worried out of her mind when younger Candied got herself into situations where... It was near life-threatening. The scoldings she gave were a little firm and assertive, but she only wanted to protect her baby. However, now that that rambunctious child has grown into an even more off the walls teenager, she just sighs and shakes her head... Whatever is Eternal Sugar going to do with her?
★ Sugared Berry and her are extremely close, though. She finds his love for the harp, the lyre, instruments in general to be a lot like her passion for them too! She teaches him how to play the lyre and even the harp, and he has her to thank for his great skills. They definitely sit down and relax together when the day calls for it, and she even gives him little bracelets and necklaces she happens to have found from her old status as a virtue. However, they do aruge a little about his tendency to just give up. She can not allow him to go down the same path of sloth as she once did, and he does not understand what is so bad about slacking off from time to time. It's not as major as most of the other kids' issues.. but it does worry Eternal Sugar a lot, especially because she has never been a parent before and does not know what to expect of this. Do not fret, Hollyberry will help her, ease her worries, and allow her to find a way to communicate her concerns to her children in another way besides incessant nagging. Other than that, Eternal is a caring mother and is good at soothing and comforting her children to a degree at the very end.. Even if she isn't the most educated on the topic of parenting.

Nodding Lily is so proud of how far they've grown as people <33
( @batshikns pssttt... I know you asked about this so...)
★ THE NEXT GENERATION OF HEROES AND THEIR SIBLING DYNAMICS..
Frozen Yogurt Cookie + Cream Vanilla Cookie
★ Cream Vanilla has always adored her older brother and always will. However, she can not help that she feels envious towards him-- his magical capabilities, how he handles almost everything she seems to not be able to, etc. There will always be that slight tension between them, and of course, they do argue like every other sibling does within their lifetime, but that's just in their nature.
★ There's a certain level of.. guilt. That Frozen yogurt feels about his sister. Sometimes, he knows he can be too blunt or harsh on her, and he's afraid of driving her away like he seemed to do with everyone else. That can cause periods where he'll be distant with her. Nonetheless, he loves and cherishes her deeply. He will protect her and follow her till the ends of earthbread, as every older sibling should. It also goes to say that sometimes, she wears him out. But that doesn't change the fact that he's always looking out for her, etc. He cares.. even if he doesn't say it a lot, he really does.
Pepperjack + Golden Saffron
★ Oh, they argue a whole lot. Both are stubborn when it comes to certain views, but these arguments tend to be trivial. Small things like who took what, and who's supposed to have what, you know the usual stuff. There are points of tension between the two, for Pepperjack, Golden Saffron nags him a lot over how he tends to be too independent. Sometimes, refusing his help when all Golden wants to do is help. Insiting that Saffron is too young and that since he is older, he can do what is necessary and needed. Of course, being the stubborn child that he is, he won't stop until Pepperjack finally allows him to help. However, Pepperjack adores Golden Saffron and only wants to keep him safe in the end.
★ Golden Saffrons' own ever unchanging mindset is the point of many tensions and misunderstandings within his relationships. For example, with Pepperjack, he tends to nag Saffron over his recklessness. Pepperjack does understand it to a degree, but it certainly gets to a point. He's only trying to do what's best for the kingdom and the Wild Spice tribes, and with Saffron being the Spices next leader (deemed by both Spice and Goldie) he needs to learn how to control his tendencies so that he becomes a responsible leader. However, Golden Saffron only really listens to Spice regarding his powers because he thinks that Pepperjack never really understood what it was like to be him.. So there's that. Saffron looks up to his older brother in certain aspects, and still had a fondness for him in the end.
Pepperjack + Kofta
★ Pepperjack's younger sister is very dear to him. He dotes on her alot, and if you couldn't tell previously, he tends to be a little overprotective. He wants her to live a good and honest life, and like his father, he really can't say no to her. However, he is alot more firm on what he allows her to do under his watch, she isn't the future heiress of anything, but she still is important to both the Golden Cheese kingdom, and the Wild Spice tribes. They get into arugements over him helicopter..siblinging her a little too much, but that really is their only huge issue.
★ Kofta views her older brother as a source of advice on what to do combat wise. As well as her father, but her fighting style does not fit his, nor her mothers. So she tends to look to him, she looks to him for things her parents can not exactly help her with. She adores him, but sometimes, like I said before, she thinks he dotes on her a little too much. She wants her own independence, her own victories, and what not.. and sometimes, it's a little frustrating when you have your older brother helping you with nearly everything. They will eventually resolve this, but do expect an angsty argument.
Golden Saffron + Kofta
★ Golden Saffron and her are partners in crimes. Their alot closer in age than Pepperjack is with the both of them, so theres a sort of understanding between the two of them. At least, to Golden Saffron. They play small harmless pranks on Pepperjack, maybe their father if Saffron REALLY feels bold (And Spice will retaliate in an equally harmless manner.. because tell me he wouldn't). They don't argue over much and are probably one of the less angsty tropes. The most they'd argue about is either Koftas' own ego and her tendencies to be bossy.. but that's it.
★ Kofta adores her second older brother. Doing mischievous things with him is one of her favorite pastimes, and most of her best memories are from when they do get out and have some fun together. It's all fun and laughs until.. Well, their mother catches them, and they get a stern talk about goofing off. Other than that, they've got almost seemingly nothing but good memories together. She trusts him on a deeper level, though, and doesn't hesitate to ask him for help if Pepperjack is unavailable.
Candied Berry + Sugared Berry
★ Candied Berry's best friend is her twin brother. She doesn't go anywhere without him, doesn't do anything without him knowing or at least hearing about it. Their tight knit, maybe it's the bond of being twins, but they seem to be in sync with how they feel most of the time. There are arugememts about Candied Berry's lack of confrontational skills and actually facing her problems with others.. Nontheless, it's pretty ride or die between the two of them.
★ Sugared Berry finds a home in his twin sister. She understands him better than anyone does, and he lets her help him with writing songs, improving his musical talent, helping him pick the best decor for the parties, etc. That does go without saying that she also tries to get him to be more energetic and out and about. They argue about his own insistence to stay inside all day, all cooped up and whatnot.. But deep down, he at least appreciates her for looking out for his mental health, especially when no one seems to notice the days when he slacks off.. feels less motivated and loses that passion within him. So at least he has her at the end of the day.
Royalberry + Candied Berry
★ Royalberry and Jungleberry were pleased to find out about the twos arrival. Happy that their mother had found someone new, and would soon be welcoming in two new bundles of joy. He loves Candied Berry like his own, as she tends to act alot like Princess in some ways. He lets her be in charge of the food at the parties and balls, lets her pick the seating charts and sits down with her sometimes to listen to the news of what was going on outside the kingdom. He of course, knows that his energy is not nearly as off the walls as her own, and that can cause some slight differences between them, nonetheless, they care and adore one another.
★ Candied Berry respects and enjoys his company. She knows he's very busy as king and appreciates any time he makes for her. Through her persuading, she's gotten him to try out new things he's never really done before. Like riding on dragons, fighting out in the front lines, hunting, and whatnot! She also enjoys the responsibilities she gets during the planning of some of the most important events in the kingdom with her brothers permission.
Royalberry + Sugared Berry
★ Royalberry finds his company to be alot more in tune with his personality and the way he acts. He enjoys sitting down with Sugared to just talk about everything, about the decor he has planned for the next event, about the music that's going to be played, general news you know? About the next garden that was opened, and maybe he even chalks it up to Sugared Berry to convince his stepmother to come out and join them some day for a peaceful outing (If Eternal Sugar isn't too busy.. well, sleeping, of course.)
★ Sugared Berry finds him to be a good older brother and fellow enjoyer of music alongside himself. He loves the little tea party's they have together, and he comes to Royalberry for advice on certain things. He comes to Royalberry when he either has tension with Candied, or Candied is out and about by herself. He also brings Eternal Sugar and Royalberry closer than they have ever been before, and kind of ease Eternal Sugar into taking more of a motherly role towards Royalberry, even if he's already a grown adult.
Dark Choco + Choco Oat.
★ Dark Choco dotes and cares alot about his younger sister and how she is doing. Whenever he used to visit disguised as a passer byer, she'd run up to him and hug him-- because he was there for her birth, and other events, but he was still an outsider to most. So, he appreciates her being there and acknowledging him. Because he cares so much about her well being, and her in general; he tends to find himself having the same sentiment that Cacao does about her tendency to overwork herself. Of course, he's not nearly as harsh as he is, and will listen to her rant and will allow her to vent to him if needed. That doesn't go without saying that he reminds her that Cacao is trying, and only wants the best for her. He's an indirect peace maker between the two, so to speak.
★ Choco Oat respects her brother and holds him to the highest of regards. She doesn't allow slander of his name in her presence and actually works in her free time to better his reputation. She understands him, and he understands her. After all, he was in her place, too, at some point in his life. He understands her struggling relationship with Dark Cacao and her fear of her powers. She believes his advice is important and thinks he's one of the smartest people she's ever known. Through a lot of convincing, she eventually gets her brother restored back into the line of succession, with both of her parents' approval. For that, he is forever grateful for her providing him a second chance to redeem himself. He even considers having her as a trusted advisor during legal and important matters, if that doesn't trouble her at all.

Pt 1 - Frozen Yogurt
( - sibling dynamics)
Frozen Yogurt + Pepperjack
( romantic)
★ Pepperjack, oh, Pepperjack.. One of the only people who were willing to listen to him. To say that Frozen Yogurt adores him is an understatement. In a way, Pepperjack brings a sense of balance into his life.. He keeps him on his toes from time to time and yet grounds him when he needs it the most. Reminding Frozen Yogurt that he, too, is still a cookie in the end. They have a special bond, one that is built on trust and security. Pepperjack is the one thing that he can look forward to, no matter the outcome.. Pepperjack clings to him insistently, and at first, Frozen Yogurt was irritated. But Pepperjack is persistent and patient, eventually with enough convincing, Frozen Yogurt lets his walls down. Finds that Pepperjack is ready to accept him for who he is-- and he kind of falls in deeper from there. The way he lifts others off their feet literally, the way hes so gentle and understanding.. Yet bold and ruthless if need be.. It's just-- he's wonderful in all ways. He is the one who gets Frozen yogurt to realize that he is not alone in the end after all. Whenever Frozen Yogurt does fall into mania, Pepperjack is the most hurt by this out of all the kids. He watches as he turns into the ugliest parts of himself, but Pepperjack can find it in himself to love him even then. Even if it hurts him, and Frozen Yogurt cannot understand why. Why on earth would he ever decide to love someone like himself so persistently? He may hold the answer to everything, but the love that Pepperjack has for him is something he can't even comprehend. He doesn't want this for Pepperjack, but Pepperjack is just too much of a stubborn fool when it comes to him. Maybe if he hurts him enough, he'll come to the harsh truth that Frozen Yogurt wasn't worth it.. Oh, but he can't do that. Yogurt can not hurt him no matter how much he tries. When he does, it eats him up inside, but he will do what it takes to achieve his goal. No matter the guilt he carries, no matter how much he misses him.. And the reunion between the two? Messes of sobs, and that one confession that the two have been waiting to hear.. or atleast, Pepperjack has been waiting to hear. Because he, long ago, has already said that he loves him.. But Frozen Yogurt was always a little weary of reciprocating, now that he's gotten a taste of what it was like to be without Pepperjack.. He's more than ready to love him wholeheartedly.
★ Frozen Yogurt.. the moon to his sun, the beautiful sage that he is.. How could Pepperjack not adore him in all ways? He's smart, reliable, magically talented, and not to mention, his looks are for sure charming. Sure, he may be a little harsh at first, but if you really looked close enough.. You would see the care that he has for those closest to him, and that is what really endears Pepperjack. From the moment he first sets eyes on that little boy, he remembers meeting, to the man that he is grown into.. He has been nothing but fascinated with him. Pepperjack wants to know him and understand this truth - this cruelty he puts on as a facade. He wants to see him for who he really is. Not that Frozen ever tries to hide that.. Frozen Yogurt is there to remind him, too, during periods of his own self doubt creeping into his mind that he has proved himself more than capable enough to take on the responsibilities that he holds. In a way, they reassure each other when they need it. To say that he was broken hearted when he lost the light of his life.. Is such an understatement. He is devastated, desperate to get him back no matter the circumstance. He faces the beast that he has become, and he can not raise the spear he has learned to wield to his face.. Why would he? He embraces this monster because he knows that Frozen yogurt is deep down somewhere in there in the end. Pepperjack knows where and who he stands by, and Frozen Yogurt is one of them. Pepperjack will stand with him between life and death, if that means being close to him in the end. He will cut his own wings and give him his own limbs just to convince Frozen Yogurt that he is loved. Loved by him. Loved by everyone else. Because who is he, if not his at the very end? His rock, his beloved sun, the light to his darkness.. When he finally returns back into the light, Pepperjack is there to welcome him, holding him just that little bit closer. Tear stained promises of never letting this happen to him again. He is happier than he has ever been in his entire life because his dearest is back in his arms. Wrapped around in his wings, together they will stay until the end of time.
Frozen Yogurt + Nodding Lily
(platonic)
★ Frozen Yogurt finds her company to be pleasant. Her friendship is a highlight in his life. She is a good friend and a good listener. Nodding Lily is the second closest to Frozen Yogurt after Pepperjack, and that is because they share the same need for companionship deep down in the end. They spend quality time together alot-- like the small walks they'd take in the gardens.. Unintentionally micking the paths that Vanilla and Lily did around the palace. Looking at books together, playing chess and other things. Reguarding her people pleasing issue, Frozen Yogurt feels sympathy for her, and he even kind of nags her about this. Most of the "friends" she surrounds herself with are just there to take advantage of her, and he wishes that Nodding Lily could see that. See what he see, and take that burden off her shoulders. He resents them, how ever could they take advantage of such a giving soul? She was always too kind for her own good anyway.. Nontheless, he will be there to extend a hand to her, albeit a little reluctantly at first.. but still, he is there for her when she needs it. A voice of reason, clarity if you will for her.. He does hope that she stays around for a while, but there's always that voice in the back of his mind that she won't make it.. That she won't live as long as he does. That's why he's been more attentive to her as of late. He wants to prevent this untimely death.. He tries to drown the voice that reminds him out, but the harsh truth will come crashing down one day. And he will be torn to pieces over the news because he, too, can hold people dear. Even if to others, it seems so impossible that he may even consider caring for another cookie.
★ Nodding Lily believes wholeheartedly that he is a good friend. Someone she wants to keep close by through and through. She finds herself confiding in him with a lot of her interests in more.. niche things. She finds that her love for novels is shared by him, and they could spend hours just analyzing a few chapter of some novels. In fact, they're tied for the smartest of the children.. with Choco-Oat and Pepperjack in close second. They bond over this, and they also vent to each other.. Well, Nodding Lily does. She expresses the mistreatment she endures every day, and yet.. Despite how much he bugs her, that people pleasing mindset never leaves her. Nontheless, she finds his company to be pleasant, and they would go through their parents' old scrolls and studies to forget about that.. weird feeling, that weird looming feeling over their heads that maybe this wasn't meant to be eternal after all. Never mind that, Nodding Lily will believe that it is for the time being. Nodding Lily will be playing her violin for him and the others, and gardening with him.. Pretending that everything is fine.. Yes, wouldn't this be nice to have for eternity, no?
Frozen Yogurt + Choco Oat
(Platonic)
★ Frozen Yogurt is not as close with her but still thinks of her as a worthy ally. Personality wise, they are the most similar, so they often find a lot of common ground within one another. Sometimes, because Choco Oat knows he's well read and educated, she'd ask him for help with her political issues.. Not major ones, just small duties that she has on her to-do list. Frozen Yogurt is more than ready to help, and even ends up learning how to write in both Korean and Chinese because of Choco Oat! It wasn't an easy thing to learn, but Choco Oat helped him the best she could. He often brings her sweets and other pastries from the Vanilla kingdom because he's very much aware of the lack of food diversity up m in the north.. Frozen yogurt and her do often converse about darker topics.. Like that of her powers, his powers, what the future really has in store for both of them.. He's teaching her in return how to minimize the damage she can cause with her powers, but sometimes that isn't so easy when she's under a lot of pressure. Good thing it's mainly plant life they're experimenting on, and NOT any live creatures.. Frozen Yogurt understands her fear of herself, the monster she could become.. Her inner turmoil, and he tries to be there for her, but Choco Oat turns him away. No matter how much he insists, she will turn him away. Leaving him with alone with his thoughts.. Which seems to grow more manic as the days pass, but who's counting?
★ Choco Oat believes him a comrade in all ways. She appreciates the help he offers her, and in return, she tries to give back as much as she can to him. Weaving him scarves, clothing, and other clothing, she has special coats tailor for her friends for whenever they visit her up in the Frozen peaks, Frozen Yogurt included. She even took the extra liberty to make it look like a mix of both his parents' motifs. Even if she has a hard time taking care of her own needs, she will never neglect her friends needs or let her friends suffer.. As for what happens when he loses it completely? She'll be on the brink of it, too. The pressure of keeping her kingdom safe and the crushing expectations that society has of her will nearly pull her to the edge. Nodding Lily dying was hard enough, but this on top of her own grief? It's no wonder she accidentally used her power on one of her attendants. Frozen Yogurt targets the Cacaonian Kingdom the least, but she still is weary about accepting him back, especially because he left everyone, including herself alone with the grief.. Nontheless, she will extend out a hand to him, teach him how to settle back into his duties, and maybe even find a little stability in his life, too. She will take the longest to warm up to him because there is that bitterness reguarding that her beloved is dead, and his gets to thrive alongside him.. Still, he is her friend at the end of the day, and she will not hesitate to wrap the coat she's made for him around him.. and give him the warmth he deserves. Because everyone deserves, if not a little bit of warmth, in the cold. Everyone deserves a little love in the end, no matter how much they have hurt her.
Frozen Yogurt + Candied Berry
(Platonic)
★ Candied Berry can be a little too much for Frozen Yogurt to handle at times.. But still, her company is appreciated in a way. She gets him out and about, she also encourages him to socialize a little more at parties. In fact, as children, she was the one who dragged Frozen Yogurt along to meet Pepperjack for the first time! You can say she's an unintentional matchmaker. Frozen Yogurt, admittedly, comes to her and her brother for romantic advice. To say that they are elated to help was an understatement. Candied Berry is a huge shipper at heart after all/hj. They do spend some time together, Candied Berry likes to help him get his fashion together (with the help of Choco Oat), and oten can be found browsing clothing with him within the Hollyberian boutiques She also braids his hair whenever he needs help with it.. It's long and kind of unkempt after all. He appreciates the gesture greatly, and, in return, he does her hair as well. When he turns to the darkness, Frozen Yogurt believes it's all too quiet in the void that is his mind.. Maybe a little too quiet. He can't help but miss Candied Berry's laughter in a way. He can't help but miss her in general.. Oh well, it was much too late to turn back now, Candied Berry wouldn't dare dream of bringing him into her kingdom. Nor will she lend him the forgiveness he needs.. right? I mean, she has no reason to go back for him in the end. She's got everyone else, and maybe it was better he stayed out of her life. So that the cruel truth does not crush the courage she holds in her soul..
★ Candied Berry thinks Frozen Yogurt a little strange, but still a friend to her. He's smart.. but also lacking so much in social skills, it's almost a little funny. Candied Berry can only offer as much help as she can because who is she to leave a friend in need? Sure, he's got a long way to go, but Candied is patient and willing to push him just enough to finally get out and be himself in front of a crowd of people. With enough persistence, much like Pepperjack, she finds him to be a good condifant and listener. She can talk and talk for hours on end to him, and he will listen diligently and even add some comments of his own into the mix. They hold each other in great regard, and they're a nice contrast to each other! He teaches her multiple things, survival skills she may need out in the wild, and smaller, more insignificant things he likes to tell her about and he also likes to help with taste-testing the food for banquets. When he turns away from her and everyone else, Candied Berry is the most determined to drag him back into the light (next to Pepperjack). Candied will do everything, and that includes dragging him back by the ear if she needs to! She may not be the most upfront confrotional person, but will she learn how to do that. She knows it's desperately needed to get Yogurt to see how much he matters to her. For her friends? Her courage will shine bright enough and be a shield ready to face whatever the truth has in store for her. When they get him back eventually, she encourages him to go out and help restore some of the things (with her help, of course). Because Candied Berry will be dammned if she let's him pick up the pieces on his own.
Frozen Yogurt + Sugared Berry
(Platonic)
★ Sugared Berry is a good friend. A good ally, and honestly? One of the best musicians Frozen Yogurt knows. Frozen Yogurt finds his passion to be admirable and often tunes into his performances with a friend or two. Sometimes, Sugared Berry comes to him if he needs help with the lyrics in a song if Candied is unavailable. They'll sit down, grab some tea, and begin brainstorming. Frozen Yogurt enjoys doing this more than he likes to admit. It's a lot more peaceful than going out and borderline partying to exhaustion with Candied Berry. He enjoys playing board games with Sugared, chess.. checkers.. anything really! Frozen Yogurt almost always wins, but that's alright. Sugared and Frozen value the time they spend together rather than who wins or not. Over time, Sugared Berry opens up to him about his loneliness and lack of companionship despite being the holder and emodiment of love. Frozen Yogurt is more than willing to sympathize and help him realize that his friends, his family, love him too.. and maybe Frozen Yogurt helps him find his own romantic partner unintentionally. Because he sees the way he looks at that royal gardener.. He's so obvious. It amuses Frozen Yogurt.. and surprises him that no one else has noticed. Never mind, he'll keep that a secret to save Sugared Berry the embarrassment.. He does miss him in a way. It's lonely at the top of the peak of revelation, after all. But Frozen Yogurt knows this is a path he must walk on his own, for the sake of no one else being hurt under their hands, he will bare the curse of loneliness on his back.
★ Sugared Berry thinks of him as a good, reliable friend. He knows that he is smart and trusts his judgment.. But never once did he ever assume that Frozen Yogurt would find love. That was always a concern of his, that Frozen Yogurt ends up in the same state of loneliness he seems to be trapped in deep down. Then, Pepperjack came along, and he found love, brought Frozen Yogurt up. For that, Sugared Berry is grateful and supports their relationship wholeheartedly. He is willing to lend that little romance advice to Frozen, encouraging him to be more passionate.. But he also does appreciate Frozen Yogurt being there for him, lending an open ear for him to vent his own issues onto him. He values and cares for Frozen Yogurt.. A lot, actually. It's funny how easily that boy can read him. At least someone can. After all, he isn't the best liar. When Frozen Yogurt falls into that dark, dark void of loneliness, stood up top the peak of revelation. He isn't mad at him, no, no.. To a degree, he understands him.. But this isn't the way he was supposed to go about this, and Sugared recognizes that. He helps his sister drag him back, alongside everyone else.. And will help him see that he isn't alone. Because the lonely find a home in each other, and he wants Frozen to know that he has a home within Sugared Berry.
Frozen Yogurt + Golden Saffron
(Platonic)
★ Frozen yogurt appreciates Golden Saffron a lot. He knows how much he leaves Cream Vanilla to her own thoughts and Golden Saffron, keeping her company eased his worries about her growing to be as isolated as he was.. Because he's close with Pepperjack, him and Saffron end up spending some time together too. Golden Saffron often comes to him if he is lonely, and both Cream Vanilla and Pepperjack are busy, and they often either go hunting or Frozen Yogurt (attempts) to teach him some magic. Especially after that whole incident regarding his younger sister being turned into a squirrel.. Yeah, no, it was a whole thing. Still, he thinks he is reliable, both as a friend to his younger sister and a younger brother to Pepperjack. They rarely have any tension and often share the common goal of keeping Pepperjack safe, so there is that. When Frozen Yogurt enters that state of mania, he doesn't really think of Golden Saffron at first and even targets the wild spice tribes.. Until he is reminded of who he's hurting, he's threatening to take away one of his sisters only friends and his beloveds younger brother, not to mention a good cookie above all else. Then the guilt comes back to eat at him. Could Golden Saffron even forgive him for hurting the world he tries so hard to protect? Will there ever be that same sense of respect the two held for each other long ago again? Maybe, maybe not. Time can only tell.
★ Saffron trusts him with Pepperjack, and in return, he trusts him with Cream Vanilla. They have this unspoken promise to one another to keep the ones they love safe and watch over them in their place. He's actually the one who brings Frozen and Cream closer after everything is said and done! He likes how funnily blunt Frozen Yogurt can be and how his sarcasm is unintentionally funny. When Frozen Yogurt initially becomes a villain, he's more than ready to fight to get him back. Cream Vanilla and Lava Cake both ask him to come help and help they do! Golden Saffron owes so much to him, so he will do his best to show him that he can do good and that he will do good. Because he sees how this is affecting Pepperjack.. For better or for worse, he will let himself get hurt just to protect everyone. He doesn't know if the real Frozen is still in there.. But he hopes. And if he is, Golden Saffron is just as ready to bring him back, just like he did with Cream Vanilla.
Frozen Yogurt + Kofta
(platonic)
★ Frozen Yogurt has been around Kofta ever since she was young. He indulges her, let's her dress him up and what not, him and Pepperjack babysit her alot so its second nature to him. He reads her stories and puts on little shows of his own to impress the small baby. He loves her like a little sister in a way. As she gets older, the more she knows what she wants, but someone has got to bring her back, ground her to reality. So Frozen Yogurt will be her voice of reason, alongside Pepperjack. They keep her in check (affectionately). For that, Kofta, despite her pouts and complains, respects Frozen Yogurt. He sort of understands what it's it like for your own to grow to dislike you and push you away. It's hard to lead when your people don't want to listen, and he gets her frustrations.. sometimes. She is a professional complainer about nearly everything, and Pepperjack + him never seem to hear the end of it. However, it does show Frozen Yogurt that even she can feel comfortable around him, which.. does make him feel better about his distance with Cream Vanilla. He just hopes that ego of hers won't lead to her downfall.. He also hopes that he never saw the worst in him during his time of corruption, but she knows he did.. He just doesn't understand why she still looks at him with that same amount of respect? Or was it pity in her eyes now?
★ Kofta respects him a lot. She adores his wits and his willingness to be so patient with her.. And of course, she's bound to be her future brother in law, if you know what she means! He's practically family at that point. He's been there ever since she was a baby, and up until now. He is truly a loyal person to her brother. She thinks no one is better for him than Frozen Yogurt is, after all. But that does not mean she won't hesitate to side with her brother, should push come to shove. Nontheless, she enjoys his company, he's a good listener! Or well, at least to her endless rants.. I mean, she's got reasons to, you know! And when he first turns to the darkness, give into those voices that have been nagging at him for a while now. She can't help but wonder what exactly drove him to the brink of madness? Was it Nodding Lily's death? Was this all done with the intention of protecting them? She knows better than to try and go anywhere near him, but she never once loses that respect for him. Because she knows deep down, no matter what he does or what he says, she knows his intentions are good, if not to her.. than to Pepperjack, and that is enough to reassure Kofta. She e is not going to fight him up front, and she's more concerned about securing her home land. But when he comes back, she's happy not to have to worry about.. well, him, and is more than pleased to nag-- I mean greet him again!
