I'm sorry I'm bothering you so much, but I wanted to ask some stuff. What is John and Dave's respective miraculous items? Do they have a phrase they say to activate it? What is this AU's version of Hawkmoth? And would you be cool with a multi-chapter thing instead of a one-shot because I have so many ideas and I'm excited! Sorry again! Thank you!

that’s totally fine, i love talking about this!! 

john’s miraculous is a sky blue bracelet of sorts, which usually isn’t visible since he tends to wear long sleeves, hoodies and jackets and such. when he’s in just a t-shirt, it’s visible on his left am. dave’s miraculous is one of those cool pocket watches, which he claims to have bought on e-bay for ironic purposes. 

john activates his miraculous by holding two fingers to his bracelet and saying “quin, blow me away!” because he’s a nerd, while dave taps the glass of his pocket watch and says “prite, you know what to do.” 

doc scratch is this au’s hawkmoth! he’s a smug bastard and likes to manipulate people into doing what he wants, with varied results. he wants the miraculouses, though, so he can fill the blanks in his powers; primarily it’s the lowkey order/chaos elements he wants full control over. i haven’t decided on the details yet, so that’s up in the air for now, but doc scratch is definitely the one in that role.

Hello! So this time I'm asking about the Kwamis, if you would. What are Prite and Quin's respective personalities? What do they eat? I didn't have them talk in the first chapter because I didn't want to go anywhere that wasn't cannon, but I don't want them to be silent in the next chapter if I can help it. Thanks again!

prite is kind of aloof, but he does have a sense of duty. he gets personally offended whenever dave complains about his powers, or the responsibility of having them, or not having as cool powers as breeze. prite’s a bit of a prideful little kwami, but he’s actually a little shy! so dave doesn’t tend to have trouble keeping him out of sight, because that’s where prite prefers to be, most of the time. (unless someone talks shit about birds or turntable or dave.) 

quin is, as you might expect, most definitely a prankster. she’s very playful and active, and doesn’t like having to hide out in john’s backpack all the time, so sometimes she’ll just rest in his hoodie pocket instead! she also plays a lot of pranks on john when they’re alone, and has a bad habit of commenting on things all the time, sometimes forgetting that they have company. 

prite will eat bird food, most of the time, which is pretty cool because it doesn’t look all that suspicious. he also tends to sneak into dave’s snacks, though, and might steal a fry or two if they’re at mcdonalds. he has, on multiple occasions, nearly gotten caught by dirk or rose after having made himself comfortable in a bowl of popcorn. 

quin will honestly eat anything, but she does have a preference for baked goods. hang her a cookie or a muffin of a macaron, and she’ll be right as rain as soon as she can gobble it down! fortunately, there’s never a shortage of baked goods in john’s household, to john’s great lament and quin’s endless joy. 

aaa i look forward to the next chapter already!!! the first one was super fun to read, i’m pumped!

What are your thoughts on the Alpha kids? Are they in this AU? What roles do they play? And also, what about the Pre-Scratch Trolls (Ex. Kankri, Porrim, etc.)?

as far as i’m concerned, this is pretty much a humanstuck AU, so the trolls are all there! the beta kids and trolls are classmates, while the alpha kids and trolls are a bit older, to varying degrees. most of the alpha kids/trolls have jobs and/or are studying. 

dirk is rose and dave’s older brother, and since their parents tend to not be around much for work reasons, dirk is usually the one in charge, whether he likes it or not. he works at a local place where they fix broken phones and computers. roxy is their cousin, and works at the same place, but she doesn’t live with them. (she visits sometimes, though.) 

jane and jake are john and jade’s cousins, through their twin dads. twins are kind of a genetic thing, which irritates all the kids to no end because of all the bad jokes they have to suffer through. john and jane channel that through masterfully pranking others sometimes, though jane is better at it, even though she’s less devoted. jane works at the bakery alongside their dads. jake wanted to study, but couldn’t concentrate on schoolwork, so he’s jumping from job to job trying to find something that works for him. 

for the most part, the alpha trolls are only distinctly related to their younger counterparts unless otherwise mentioned! 

porrim and kankri are both teachers at the school, and they’ve known each other since grade school. they’ve still got the vague “you’re not my mom” “well stop acting like a baby then” dynamic going on, and porrim’s classes are a lot more interesting, but john and dave are stuck with kankri’s. (she’s his substitute when he gets sick, though, to everyone’s relief.) 

damara, mituna, cronus, and meenah do not have jobs. they do hang out around town a lot and bother everyone else, though. mituna and sollux are brothers, but they don’t hang out much. 

latula and rufioh work at the local subway, and they’re perfectly happy with it. horuss sometimes drops by to talk with rufioh, though, which bothers absolutely everyone, including dirk who usually has to come drag him back to the fix-it store where he actually works. 

meulin and kurloz are both students, and they’re pretty chill. if you wanted something not entirely legal, you’d go to them, which is why most people just keep a healthy distance unless they need something in particular. 

aranea primarily works at the library, but she offers private tutoring to anyone who needs it, and occasionally hosts seminars and free lectures at the library about current topics. no one is sure when, or if, she ever sleeps. rumour has it she just doesn’t sleep or eat at all because it would get in the way of distributing knowledge. she’s a good source of info, though, including gossip!

Hello, it is me again! So I'm about to start writing an Akuma fight and I'm wondering what weapons they use. Like, do they use the weapons they use in Homestuck (I.E., Hammer and Sword), or is it something else? And also, how do they purify the Akumas? Thanks for the super interesting AU!

hello again!! thank you for being interested!! c: 

they’ve got a hammer and sword; john keeps his hammer in the pouch on his thigh, and it basically unfolds into a big hammer when he presses a button. the same button folds the hammer back up to pocket size. he only uses the hammer for melee, though; he already has pretty powerful wind powers, and he’s better with those. 

dave’s turntables can sort of fuse into a gear-themed sword, though it’s kind of unreliable and he hasn’t entirely figured out how to hit something without either breaking the sword or creating another time clone somewhere nearby. shenanigans, basically. (he figures out how to control that after a while, but it takes some time.) 

on that note, i also haven’t talked about their special miraculous powers yet, so i might as well cover that too! where ladybug and chat noir have lucky charm and cataclysm, breeze and turntable have the windy thing and alpha timeline. 

the windy thing is a powerful move, but also incredibly chaotic in nature. it’s almost like a hurricane, with breeze in the eye of it. it can really mess an enemy up, but it tires breeze out pretty hard, and his bracelet makes a quiet hissing noise until the transformation power runs out afterwards; like a rustling of wind between leaves. 

alpha timeline is kind of a dangerous move, in that whichever turntable activates the power first is the one who gets to make it out of there. this requires intense amounts of communication between the clones, but sometimes that’s not possible, and they just have to work on the assumption that one of them will be in the absolute best position to finish the fight. the alpha timeline power also powers up his time control abilities briefly; he can choose to freeze someone or something in time for a minute, or freeze everything but himself in time for a minute, letting him move freely to where he needs to be. 

it doesn’t actually matter which of them smashes the thing the akuma is inside, as long as one of them does it. john is the one who purifies them, though, by creating a tiny ball of wind in the palm of his hand, cleansing the akuma before letting it go. (dave can actually purify the akuma too, by putting it on his turntables and basically reversing time for just the akuma. neither of them are aware of this until the day breeze is incapacitated and can’t do it and turntable panics and realizes he has to try.)

Hello! So I saw that you were interested in Steven Universe, and I just wanted to say that SU is totally worth watching. The art style is great and the music is awesome, not to mention that the story and characters are dynamic enough to remain interesting. You should totally check it out! (Also, sorry I haven't uploaded chapter 3 of Miraculous Pepsicola, I have a plan/outline for it but Akumas are hard, haha)

i just might, eventually!! i just need to find the energy to sit down and watch that amount of episodes, which i presume is an absolutely preposterous amount by now. padparadscha (i think??) might be what knocks me over that ledge eventually tbh she seems excellent and highly Relatable 

(also TAKE YOUR TIME i promise any update at all is super exciting!! on the reverse end, feel free to poke me about more updates for miracola in general because honestly i could play in that ballpark for so long at any time, but i tend to bounce between inspiration for various projects seemingly at random)
