“xander, can you please stay here for a moment?”, the redhead asked as the rest of her students were already leaving class, scurrying out of the room right after the bell had run and officially ended the class. at this point, she’d almost grown used to the fact that at this university, not the professor ended the class but the bell, apparently, especially where the jocks where concerned. leaning against her desk, she waited until everyone but xander had left the room before directing her full attention on him. “may i ask what your problem with me is?” blue eyes pierced right through him as she crossed her arms before her chest. aislinn had never been one to beat around the bush, preferring to go straight to the topic at hand. and in this case, it was the fact that he constantly argued with her in class, challenged her at every opportunity he got, and loved to use the fact that he was part of the school's most prominent and successful sports team to ask for extensions on his essay. and that was something that simply couldn’t go on any longer, she wouldn’t let it go on any longer. “because if you don’t start to appropriately participate in class, i won’t have any choice but to let you fail it at the end of the term.” maybe she should approach the topic more kindly, but that had never been her style and, to be perfectly honest, after today’s class her patience had finally run out.
