Omg everybody is goin crazy for freakloser. I'll have to make a new pinned post at some point. But just answering some repeat questions here:
Freakloser is in development. It is a multichapter comic.
Timeline wise, please allow a few months to sort most of our front-heavy previs development. The overall story is prepped, though we are trying to iron out the first 3 chapters with thumbnails before locking the first chapter in.
We have some character designs already, and I'm not too worried on that end. But there are some last minute plots holes we wanna think about more.
Also, it hasn't been decided yet, but we do plan on having pretty long chapters (~30 pages?) Which could also impact how often we update, and when chapter 1 comes out, if we only update per chapter.
Alongside Freakloser's main narrative, we may post one offs that are canon but do not impact the story, to tide people over inbetween. We have a big ol backlog of those, but wanna release chapter one first for context.
While the project is pretty front-heavy, I do think chapter drops will be more frequent once chapter one comes out.
I am curious what people think about the release schedule. If you have any suggestions, we may take it into consideration. I believe a month's worth of time per chapter release is helpful so we don't overwork ourselves on a per-week basis~ We work regular jobs ew. And I hustle stickers lol.
In a blog update type of news: I introduced a new aspect to the story and tweaked chapter 1's first pages to reflect it. It's gonna be awesome!

you've been tailing around Santos all day, only catching glimpses of Whitaker, and he seems to be miserable every chance you see him. you're taking a moment to eat, Samira offering to cover when you're about to be called into a trauma with Trinity and Langdon. that left you at the desk with Perlah and Princess, humming when Dana mentions stepping out for a smoke. after that is the big commotion with Crosby and you're quick to leave the desk to find the problem.
Whitaker acts fast enough to distract you, trailing to the dog shaking around a rat before being covered in a sheet. then Whitaker jumps for them, removing the rat from the dogs mouth quickly before he straightens up. you can see how he tightens his grip before flicking his wrist forward and a tiny snap sounds through the room.
you have a moment to register that its Dennis before people are clapping, murmurs going around before he bows bashfully. something about the dorky motion made your head spin, trying to match the Whitaker who had a "funky" ringtone, to the one who just caught a rat.
you spend the rest of the shift staring at his hands and arms.
and arguably, Whitaker isn't traditionally muscled but he is a fucking farm kid in Nebraska i can tell you for a fact he helped and has enough muscle for it to count. theres also a specific scene where he has his arms crossed that makes him look good. he doesn't have a six pack but hes got strong arms from chores if hes a real farm kid.
because of this, ive been thinking about Whitaker already knowing about your thing for his hands and just,,,,
it takes a while to romance Whitaker and even longer to get him in bed HOWEVER I think if you ask nice enough he'll use his fingers on you even before you guys are ready to go the whole way
you lose your mind a little with how he grabs your jaw firmly to guide your mouth back to his but also hes fucking you so sweetly
I dont know he'd ever be into choking but he guides your jaw easily and rests his palm along your collarbone and against your sternum. Just a heavy warmth there.

eventually you give in, because i mean how can you not. part of me is like, this would be really funny to do in the pitt, coming up to him when he's standing at the hub and acting casual at first. then you ask him to give you his arm, which he does of course because he doesnt think anything of it. but he is confused when theres the feeling of a soft silk ribbon around his arm, which makes him finally look over at you. once youve tied it in a little bow, he looks between you and the ribbon because youre giving him a look like he should already know what to do. you almost roll your eyes at his confusion
"you know what to do." is all you tell him, before it finally clicks in his brain. and he gets a little shy cause I mean,,,,, in front of everyone? but youre not giving him an out and theres kind of a dare in your eyes for him to untie it himself. which he doesnt.
maybe you've roped in one of the nurses, asking them to film on your phone or theirs. and of course because frank is who he is, he folds and he does it. in the hub. in front of anyone who's there.
