Who would throw the other in the pool: "toph n o -!” she gives him a firm shove but at the last moment he grabs onto her and they tumble in together. cue a terrified, overdramatic earthbender having to get fished out as sokka laughs his ass of bc she looks like a drowned kitten
Who is the better carer when the other is sick: sokka, accident prone as he is, has experienced his fair share of care at katara’s hand, and being the observant guy he is, gets pretty good at it himself. laughter is the best medicine, so it also helps that he’s always good for a joke ;)
Who would force the other to do extreme sports with them: neither, because honestly they feed each others’ madness. i bet they’d try to outdo each other all the time. sokka would pick things that got toph out of her comfort zone, and toph would pick things she knew she would own at.
Who would cook the better romantic dinner: sokka, for obvious reasons. he’s tried to make the kitchen more accessible to her disability, but she’s just terrible at it. scratch romantic dinner, he would cook the better everything. (now i’m imagining him guiding her hands and cooking with her and like “feel this i made a notch on the side of this cup so you can measure out the amounts” bc why not and hnnngh the feels)
Who would build the blanket fort in the living room: “hey toph look!” “w h a t”
Who would have the best holiday ideas: bc, growing up, toph never got to really enjoy holidays with other people she gets so fuckin’ excited but not in the giddy way like sokka or katara, but in her own reserved way. like everyone’ll be throwing out ideas and sharing stories and she’ll be at the side just soaking it all in and laughing along, taking shots and being sarcastic when sokka asks for her input on decorations like “those look the same to me” and just thanking her lucky stars for the family she has in her friends (sobs)
Who would need to clean out the other’s stuff to make room for their own: neither? honestly, toph keeps very few personal effects, and her living space is very spartan because of her blindness. though her personality lends itself to messiness, her disability makes it too bothersome (especially with non-earth items that can easily be lost) so she just keeps it somewhat contained. i doubt her stuff would take up much space, so there wouldn’t be a problem there.
